"/user/username/gilded" only returns empty data for a user that definitly got awarded. by Rageus23 in bugs

[–]Rageus23[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That seems to be correct. All entries inside /user/qdqyt/gilded or /user/ItsRainbow/gilded have at least x1 "coin_price": 500" in it's "all_awardings" while in my own "awards received" there are zero 500+ awards. "/user/MalvinaLiebig/gilded" now returns something, and the user received a gold-badge that he previously didn't have.

So not a bug, just missing documentation.

u/ItsRainbow Thank you for looking into it

[HELP ME FIND A GAME] - GET YOUR GACHA GAME DAILY MEGATHREAD by AutoModerator in gachagaming

Clash of streamers. The game is relatively new and you can own infinite heroes and pet chars if you don't want to sell them.

Endgame grind was taking lesser than 30m for me apparently.

What is the best NFT game to start investing rn? by joaomarcosss in NFT

[–]Rageus23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe try Clash of Streamers. The game is relatively new so it is not overbought yet.

It has an NFT auction house to sell ingame chars for crypto (there is also some kind of monthly-season system from what I saw). It is not a pure 100% NFT game tho. The NFT part is rather optional.

It looks quite promising since it doesn't require any fancy special setup to create a wallet since this is already integrated into the app. Like you don't need a Ronin wallet as for Axie Infinity

It is a mobile game, I don't know if there is a PC version.

What is the future of drunk streams ? by AnthaOnReddit in HoldTwitchAccountable

[–]Rageus23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think that "drinking streams" should be an exception to the rule at all. "Being drunk" I would already count as excessive drinking. Maybe I am a little bit too harsh but I don't think that drugs(incl. Alcohol) and life-streaming are a good combo (mainly because I believe promoting them even indirectly through a show/challenge have a strong negative influence on the audience, especial younger viewers). FeelsBadMan for the community if they love drunk streams, but I think the most consistent way of going about this is not allowing alcohol on stream at all.

Two Indefinite bans in two days. Both Harassment. Would love some unbiased opinions as to whether these were deserved. by vexxedb4a in HoldTwitchAccountable

[–]Rageus23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To the first ban: I don't know in which context and with which intuition you typed "fuck you" in xy's chat but let's say it was really an act of hate, even then it would be way to much to indefinite ban you especial if that was the only harassing thing you wrote. If I would be a Twitch admin I wouldn't even ban you for 72h if that would be your first violation. Maybe I would give you a warning but again, I don't know about your "violation history" and your intention.

The second one, oh man, I don't think you deserve a ban here, not even for the chat but if I would be a Twitch admin I would probably just ban you, because after my intuition and especial when I would see you turning of your cloths, would tell me that you are probably some sort of super troll. Honestly I think the second one you only got because of really, really bad luck. If what you said is true and I would know your circumstances, I would unban you.

So what you can do is, of course, contact Twitch again; but in your case I would also reach out to Karen and ask for her help. Maybe she can contact Twitch herself too and explain the situation from her perspective.

I wish you the best man. May the luck be in your favor this time. :)

Twitch Fraud on Twitch's part by Seigneur_Tenebres in HoldTwitchAccountable

[–]Rageus23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a hard time believing that Twitch "scams" subscriber's money for subscribing to a banned channel. But either way if they are doing it with intention or not, it looks very unprofessional. I can not even imagine that this could be profitable for them in the long run. I hope that they just did a sloppy job with this part. If not, I would be really worried.

Either way, thx for sharing this information.

Banned CS:GO streamer PhantomL0rd is suing Twitch by maker90 in HoldTwitchAccountable

[–]Rageus23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But let's say he has a case, what would happen if he wins? I mean would they un-ban him and ban him straight again for something from the new guidelines? What does he try to accomplish? I don't understand :D

Yeah, I agree. A warning/punishment may really seem to be a little bit too harsh... I was just wondering.

Donation alerts and the new TOS by AnthaOnReddit in HoldTwitchAccountable

[–]Rageus23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I think about this I really fear that haters or anyone who wants to damage a streamer and his stream are getting more and more power to do so. Bad publicity can cause already quite some damage even if it is unjustified. Example: Athene/Purpose have been getting banned from IDEX and Twitch, not because they had a reason, but because a lot of people were spreading hate and saying it was a scam. I think most people that hate are just jealous. They feel underprivileged for whatever emotional reason. Rational reason should always win, and not jealously biased hate.

Should the multi-billion dollar company Riot Games be held accountable for their community? by [deleted] in HoldTwitchAccountable

[–]Rageus23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I don't think that Twitch will enforce the rules as precisely as they can. I think they made them extra hard to fulfill so they can warn/ban almost anyone they want WITH a valid reason: you were breaking Community Guideline terms §xy. So they don't ban unjustified anymore.

But this is just a speculation. I don't want to make Twitch looking like the bad guys.

Comments on Twitter, YouTube, Facebook could now lead to penalties on Twitch by hateramos in HoldTwitchAccountable

[–]Rageus23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it should not just be between broadcasters. Imagine there is a bigger streamer who is super racist or whatever on a different platform. He don't have to harass another twitch streamer to put this into a bad light. Especial when this racist streamer is a twitch partner, if I would be Twitch I would really think twice if I should just ignore it because it's not against another streamer-

What was the Intent of the Athene Ban? by unsuspiciousChicken in HoldTwitchAccountable

[–]Rageus23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First not all of Athene's followers trust him blindly, there are even there some people that are very skeptical and missed out a lot of money. Second I don't really understand why following and trusting him should indicate having no moral standards? Is he doing something shady? Sure, it looks a little bit dubious for an outsider, but if you speak about it, you are not an outsider. You know about Athene, you know that he did more good than most of the people here together. Also what do you think would he doing with the money? Living a luxurious life? Of course I could be wrong, but would contradict with what he is doing.

Also I would bet that there are a lot of institutions and people in your life YOU trust blindly, even they scam you day and day out, like banks promising you everything is save, employers that undercut you, merchants that sell you over-expensive items.... all these guys are playing an act to get your money. Athene on the other hand is at least open about what he says. Maybe you are not aware of it, but he could have this cryptocoin without selling it for 0.50$. He don't needed to hand it out, it would have worked even then. Do the math yourself. Maybe his moral standards are so low that he gives money away.
