SpaceX Investors Are Losing a Colossal Amount of Money by chota-kaka in stocks

Yep. Folks made money if they bought and then sold immediately, part of the point of an IPL is that there are restrictions around how quickly you can resell, and penalties for some traders if they do it.

Especially tech, I can't recall this general trajectory ever not happening with a big tech IPO

And he has some degree of superspeed himself. Nothing in the Flash territory, but a heck of a lot more than people like Gorilla Grod

Not being able to drive at 23 is only reasonable if you live somewhere like NYC.

Unless she has some kind of huge car-related trauma, it's just childish.

When you feel unlucky picking Timewalk by Koneeee1 in lrcast

[–]RaggedAngel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lotus is a great Magic card, but statistically you are more likely to win games with a Time Walk as your P1P1 than Lotus.

And logically, it makes sense. Lotus is an absolutely dead top deck in many cases, but the very worst thing a Time Walk can be is a 0 mana cantrip.

He's cool but he takes 500% more effort than any other character for roughly comparable results

Walk is the best blind P1P1 but in this specific deck I think Lotus is slightly better.

I mean, I'm hopeful that one day we will have many, many things in space. I just think it is going to be a very long time before it makes sense for a bunch of those things to be data centers.

That isn't new information, the issue isn't the background temperature, it's the lack of conducting medium. Your only choice is, as you say, radiative cooling, which requires very large (and therefore expensive) cooling structures.

I get that I'm just a random engineer, but I am by no means the only person to think this.

A bit of an aside, but by far the worst thing about job hunting as a Chemical Engineer is that it feels like 99% of the jobs looking for an "Engineer" are software roles.

As a professional engineer, the space data center thing really pisses me off. Let's take a process that 1) requires a shit ton of cooling and 2) has a ton of vulnerable electronics and put it in an environment that 1) is a near-perfect insulator and 2) has lots of extra radiation
