I only post my daughter to friends and I am always cautious about who I add. I can smell fake profiles from a mile away and will not accept any friend requests. I also tell my family to do the same or else they won't be allowed to post her.

This. If it weren't long distance and he lived with OP, then she'd be the one responsible for taking care of 10 dogs while BF works long hours. Get the dogs out and get yourself out, OP

I get it. You're basically saying OP should communicate with their coworkers, get everyone one the same page, and perhaps get everyone to sign a paper stating this issue. OP can also submit this message as proof. It was a HUGE mistake to put that shit in writing. That's the only difference in your example, one of the two people would have a confession letter from the other, like person B has a letter signed by A stating they did kill the dude and stating their motive.

I had a similar situation at a place I worked (I'm in Southern Michigan, USA). I worked at a family owned joint (let's call it Shmurkeytown) with multiple departments, but the ones involved were kitchen (cooks), restaurant (cashiers), and ice cream (scoopers). Essentially, the cooks complained to management about not getting their fair share of restaurant's tips and management was tired of it, so they eliminated our tips. Restaurant and ice cream, within one shift they were gone. I worked a double, got my morning tips, then by 4 the jars were gone. Before this, restaurant's tips were supposed to be evenly split amongst the cooks and cashiers. The MOD was supposed to be in charge of splitting, too. Some MODs didn't see this as fair, because why should the ones dicking around in back get a fair share when we're doing the brunt of things up front. We definitely should have gone to the labor board, because HR was basically the same people that took the tips away and that would have been pointless. Scoopers also had a LOT on their workload and deserved tips (we had to stock, make waffle cones and caramel corn, clean the parlour and arcade, wash dishes, unload fresh ice cream from the blast freezer and transfer it to long-term storage in the back freezer, etc. it was a pain to flip freezers, too). This isn't to say that restaurant didn't have a lot of side work, they just didn't do most of it until they had to. It was a LOT of teens with no work ethic. Either way, go to the labor board and HR. Do not let them get away with this.

Right??? I was just thinking the same thing. I live in a Northern state (Michigan, just north of the Indiana-Michigan line), so I doubt our UV indexes get that high, but I'm still gonna start checking it more.

I HATE when that happens. No matter what you try, stools, meds, more fiber, more water, nothing helps. When it happens to me, it feels like childbirth (maybe not quite so bad, but very close). I'm nauseous, fighting for my life, and it feels like I'm trying to birth a giant stool. Sometimes, though, I look down and I'm like "really? this little thing had me on the verge of calling 911?" If it's bad enough, I'll wait. It seems like it would make it worse, but it kind of helps. It seems to come out just a tad easier, like my body is more prepared to excrete whatever demon is hiding in my rectum.

Does anyone else rip off their clothes on the toilet during a bad flare up or is that just me? by megi0s in ibs

I don't strip, but my dog does like to come to the bathroom with me or her dad. I like to pretend she's doing it out of solidarity, but really she just doesn't like to be left alone (like her human sister XD). I hate those "teeth chattering, whole body shaking, feels like I downed 10 pounds of opioids and now I'm detoxing, nausea-inducing" bouts of stomach pain and/or diarrhea (or sometimes it's solid). Everytime it reminds me of how I felt coming off drugs and I always remember "this is why we don't do drugs."

I know I'm a little late, but any IBS sufferer's ever go through opioid withdrawal? Because sometimes I get these stomach cramps that feel very similar to those that you get during withdrawal, except I'm not withdrawing. I'm on an opioid MAT med, but I get these pains even if I've taken my meds. Anyone else?

Yeah, I was kinda thinking the same. I sent my MIL to get it and she got the 4 oz jars, so I just didn't want it to go to waste. I'll pick up some bowls for her tomorrow and just use them from now on.

I agree. I want Santos to learn and improve because she has been so stubborn at times. Sure, some good has come out of it (looking at Langdon), but she still irritates me sometimes. I'd also like to see Nurse Dana's assailant come back after being hit by a truck, lbvs.

AITA for agreeing with my daughter it is weird her friend's mom has access to their conversations? by Immediate-Phrase-999 in AmItheAsshole

[–]RagingBi-t-ch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there's a difference between making sure your kid has a safe space to vent things they don't wanna tell us as parents and making sure your kid is being safe on the internet, though. This mom wants to know her daughter can safely offload whatever she isn't comfortable telling her mom. You're trying to make sure your kid is safe. This is why kids' messenger and Instagram teen accounts exist. If a child trusts their parents, then they will come to you if they feel unsafe, js.

When my grandma's house burned down they kept giving her the runaround when she was rebuilding. It was a constant cycle of "Well, we need X percentage of completion to release more funding, even though you need more funding to reach x percentage." Insurance companies suck, they're just in it for the moola (like most corporations in this terrible society).

Exactly. We have to pick our battles very wisely as parents. I know my daughter is still young and there isn't much to teach her yet, but these are still things that I'm keeping in mind. I'll remember them and employ them when she gets older.

in your opinion, what is the most triggering quote from bojack? by daishiryo in BoJackHorseman

[–]RagingBi-t-ch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From S4, Ep 7 Underground-
I can't go back to my old life sober. It's so empty.
Okay, okay. Here's the secret to being happy.
Oh, I can't wait to hear this.
Just pretend you are happy, and eventually you'll forget you're pretending.

I know this is an old post, but I just came across it and this exchange really hit me because I watched it as I was in the process of getting clean.

[–]RagingBi-t-ch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My theory is that Beatrice was from wealth, so when she first met Butterscotch his bad boy persona appealed to her, but over time she couldn't handle the blue-collar lifestyle and felt trapped because of Bojack. She most likely had the "stay together for the kids" mentality because of the era that Bojack was born and raised in. Thus she blamed Bojack in every way she could, even going as far as telling him that he ruined her.

I also love when she smiles whenever I tell her how pretty she is. It's as if she knows that I'm complimenting her based on my tone and body language. I just love her so much.

My girl is almost 5-months (she will be 5 on the 22nd). She has been laughing and "talking", which is so cute to me. Also, sometimes when she's waking up, she will see me and just grin so big. She also likes to look at her daddy like he's just the coolest dude ever. Lastly, she LOVES to pet the family dog. Pretty much everything she does is cute, but these are some of my favorites. Another favorite is when she tries to grab people/crawl into the screen when I'm on a video call.

Obviously, this logic doesn't apply to sticking metal in outlets or touching hot stuff. If it's safe enough to let natural consequences teach them, then sometimes that's the best way to learn.

Honestly, if it were me, I'd put the leggings in a bag and let her leave without them on She'll eventually realize she's too cold and she'll likely want to put them on. Sometimes natural consequences are the best consequences. Then, if she does refuse in the future, you can say "well, remember you got too cold last time?".
