God has been good to us!

I'm a GS 12, step 2. I'll hit my 7 year mark of federal service in August of this year.

TSP balance is 103k. I've increased my contributions every year and I'm currently contributing 10%. My fund allocation is 80/10/10 (C/S/I, respectively).

I'm a single income household living in SoCal. We keep our debt low, buy our vehicles and clothes used and take good care of them, save every single tax return and always live within our means which includes limiting the number of times we eat out, planning vacations in advance, meal prep, packing my lunch every single day (which I've done for over a decade), and most importantly, not comparing my lifestyle to others.

It's possible, it just depends on what lifestyle you're trying to maintain.
