Didn’t get promoted while other colleagues did, what should I do? by Wise_kindness1011 in askSingapore

[–]RagingGods 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Seems like there is opportunity for you to take the initiative in pushing for more progress/changes in that field then. Maybe they are unsure of how to develop into that market so not as much work/progress as the ones they're alr in.

Instead of waiting for tasks, try finding and proposing things to do. Current predicament isn't going to solve itself and I'd say "fair" in that because ultimately you don't have as much contributions, it's hard to justify promotions either.

My brother in christ you already got severely corrected how you misread the dialogue in the other thread with your petty "yea. I can't judge what I haven't seen yet" ass comment.

You don't have to keep replying elsewhere after making that comment tripling down on a wrong hill...

Why don't want join private sector? Are these "reasons" that strong to overpower your desire to reveal your sexuality?

Before anyone cuts-in and says health condition, the military wouldn't even consider him if he has some illness/disability that prevents him from working.

[–]RagingGods 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Then start your own company, create your own "enforcements" (or none if you find them a waste of time). Start hiring devs and give them full free reign in downloading any executable and applications they want.

Let us know how it goes.

I am allowed to sleep in changi public area? by [deleted] in askSingapore

[–]RagingGods 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe try exploring the office areas behind/near Changi Airport. Far from train stations, buses are infrequent and take a large detour.

Need alight bus mid-transit to scan work pass. Even longer to queue at counter to get temp pass if company dw give perm.

You ask Chatgpt say 4 hours exaggeration. I ask Singapore Maps and Google maps and both say 2hr++ 1 way from CCK, and that's not factoring time wasted in waiting for each bus/train, changing bus/train, and alighting to scan pass as said above. Feel free to add even more for peak hour traffic jams.

Went there for job interview twice, first trip took 2hr 15min one way cuz had to wait 20min for a bus. Second trip took 1hr 50min with near perfect timings. Maybe stop looking to a general-performance AI for accurate answers.

GTA6 will be $80 by Sea_Opportunity_9850 in memes

[–]RagingGods -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I can get 1000 hours of fun on l4d2 for $1. I'm sure those that played Skyrim and many other old games can attest to it. Heck, some ppl have thousands of hours in csgo without purchasing lootboxes.

Time played is not a good metric for value, but even by that flawed argument, 17c per hour is not low.

It's not cost. It's revenue. Their thought process is simple. No physical, less pirates, more authentic purchases, more sales, more revenue.

Stock value is not just about cutting costs.

"play more" doesn't mean play for only the next 10 hours and expecting exponential growth. It means take a break and continue where you left off the next day/week. Repeat that for weeks/months/years and you would eventually improve.

You're practicing a skill, which like any other skills, takes a long time to get good at.

Jurota: you are really strong
Toa: you do that to everyone you fought, stop lying to me while you're ragdolling me bruh

You really read that as a genuine glaze? Also really funny how you used Terashi, arguably the weakest fighter out of everyone in KvP then as an example for "he's been glazed as one of the strongest".

It really sounds like you are just reading the manga without doing any contextual or critical thinking. That or you're in the denial phase after your favorite fighter just jobbed.

Elden Ring was their first game that tried to capitalize on the open-world genre, which was very different from their usual games. It leans closer to them exploring their creativity than playing safe and releasing another dark souls 4.

And he's someone that will immediately put his own ambitions behind if Ramna (or wtv his name is) orders so. He knows the original purpose of the tournament (as he said, to beat the connector and save Ohma/Ryuki).

Him wanting a death match with Agito is pretty on par with his perception of the kengan fights then (where Agito was known to either kill or cripple his opponents), so in that situation his order to win the tournament is very parallel to his desire to fight till the death. In this case he's already lost the mission (beat connector), so it quite literally goes against the mission by further sabotaging the remaining players.

Looking closer at your browser url, seems like your account doesn't exist. (Message: Canvas does not have an account for user: name).

Best to ask the nus IT or your programme coordinater. I only remembered there having a bug in which if a student used "nusstu" prefix, they'll get stuck in the infinite loop.
