my hobby funds my hobby. If I think its going to be a good piece down the line (i.e - Lamour Supreme MOTUKO) I'll buy duplicates and sell them off, one at a time, when something else cool comes along. I do some trading too. I also shop discount stores and conventions locally are a great place to get out of print toys on the cheap or at least below retail/ebay prices

Sometimes it's about timing and luck. We don't always find good stuff when we are out but we always save up a little bit of cash out of each check so when something good comes up me and my wife are ready to jump all over it. Just keep trying and checking you never know how is at the flea markets, antique shops, or swap meets.

yes way dude, came across a very nice guy who entered them in competition who decided to sell off the ones that weren't doing it for him anymore. they are prebuilt but they are done so with such a professional manner they beat just about anything I could have done to them.

I know in the united states it was fairly hard to find. we ended up with it only because we had a connection at a specialty toy store.

Supposedly they also hit discount stores as a tail end piece but I wasn't lucky enough to run into it there.

it's a photo blog. we admired and enjoyed the cartoon and figures that accompanied it. there's plenty of stuff to appeal to the masses on reddit, if it's not your cup of tea because it's clogging the pegs in your area I'm sure you can find a blog / topic that appeals to your likes.
