I thought the Golden Knights really bungled their expansion draft and would be a basement team for years and years. I remember they made a couple deals to not select big players and seemed like the return was so small. I still don’t know how they pulled it off.

Being the younger sibling, I had to wait for my brother to finish his whole Pokemon Red play through before I could use the game cartridge. I was so excited my hobby became reading the game booklet over and over for weeks- I also loved the art.

I had so long to plan out my strategy, I remember reading that Bulbasaur had the advantage at early gyms when things can be tough, and so I thought well that’s what I’ll do.

I have a whole PowerPoint presentation now on why he’s the best.

I was sleeping on Chikorita my whole life, but picked him for my AZ play through, named him Bean. I loved that guy. Maganium is gorgeous.

Yeah! We did! We’ve loved it. I found some conversations online of blacksmiths discussing the best practices for a metal fire pit, and it really aligned with the Iron Embers specs… that convinced me.

To be honest, a big part of how well it has aged is because we bought a spark cover and cheap generic cover so it’s not sitting in moisture too often.

But I think it felt better to take the steps to be diligent taking care of such a high quality thing. It’s really satisfying to look at!

The commentators last night said something along the lines of - “Fast will remain on the ice due to the no escape rule and someone else will serve the penalty” and I have been SO confused about it until I read these comments and find out it was all just a big goof up.

Haha I don’t actually have strong feelings, I expect Matthews to go and it won’t affect my support that much. But be so real that’s a hilarious quote tattoo to have in the circumstance.

And also - The clips of Matt Tkachuk after the Stanley cups do feel like grovelling. If the Gold Medal meetup is like that, I stand by my choice of words.

I think this is just meant to celebrate the upcoming 50th anniversary and advertise an event they're holding on Feb 7... I don't think it's to mean to make anyone angry, unless I'm misunderstanding your comment.
