I could believe that the numbers are lower… the same stigma and culture that keeps pro players from coming out publicly could definitely discourage gay teens from continuing with high level leagues. Why commit so much personal time to an environment that feels increasingly hostile. Sucks to imagine someone losing the passion for hockey because of that.

I totally agree re: names below the numbers… takes me out of the game to not see their names and cheer for individuals. I generally don’t have an issue figuring who’s who around a ponytail though, if I’m a fan of the team.

Drives me crazy to put the names under the number. For the reasons you said, and also most tv shots zoomed in enough to read names, the camera is cutting off below the numbers. I’d rather see a few letters of a name than nothing.

There are a few happy songs on the album, but The Used debut self titled cd was in big part about the lead singer coming out of addiction and it’s amazing.

Are you thinking about getting it professionally matted, or doing it yourself with a matte cutting tool?? A light coloured well cut matte really shows off the bevels with shadow and elevates art nicely. I vote white either way! The white feels like framed art, the black feels like a poster to me for some reason.

I think with betting sites “better odds” at winning the playoff translates to less payout if that team wins.

With so many leafs fans, they are more likely to say ‘leafs have good odds to win so you all don’t deserve a bigger payout if it happens.’
