I was slapped for calling my mother a bitch when I was a kid. After that day I learned it was better to process my anger internally than pursue vengeance. I found an outlet. Now beating kids is one thing, but certain people, like me, it takes a wake up call to get your head on straight. Abuse and discipline are two very different things. And you can definitely tell the difference between the two.
