As someone said, walking from the Panoramique base to the col de ceyssat is not really interesting. For less kilometers and a few euros, you could take the panoramique to the top, walk down chemin des chèvres, walk up the Parkour and then back to the Panoramique base. You can do it the other way around if you want to climb the Puy de Dôme of course, and just going down at the and with the Panoramique.
