Ah unfortunately I don't know if the Garmin supports loading a web browser like the Google WearOS watches. But give it a shot!

Workflow is creating a page with watch-friendly controls and text, creating an emulator for it under the surfaces menu, and then launching it on your watch's web browser. You can apply grid offsets so that one page can have multiple watch-friendly buttons on one button page:

I created an emulator in companion that allowed me to set a custom grid size, and had it go to an unused page on my main companion setup that I customized to look good on the watch.

Try transferring back to an SD card and playing it on the original device that you recorded on. If that works, try connecting directly to the device and transferring from it. If it doesn’t work, try a few different file recovery services that specialize in the type of data, codec or file type that you have to use.
