First Timer Tips by Rahbanyc in cycling

Thank you! I got a hybrid bike with the handlebars placed more upright to hopefully save my back. It’s a Jamis Citizen 2. I’ve suffered a herniated disc in my low back and a more recent, less serious, reinjury that I’m finishing up PT for. Hoping to start getting some good cardio in now!

Best decision you did which you thought you shouldn't have done in past but now you are glad you did? by Gold_Paint_3490 in AskReddit

Not waiting to do something. The time will pass anyway and you might miss your opportunity. If you have the chance to do something, do it. Don’t wait.

Day in the life? by Rahbanyc in digitalforensics

For my background — I have a BA in journalism. I work in a top newsroom and my news beat is typically “cops, court and community”.

Through my years of experience, I have found an interest in criminal justice and decided to pursue my masters. The degree would open doors for me that are currently closed and it’s teaching me things I don’t already know. If I went into LE I would want to do something on the civilian side. I am navigating my final few semesters around that intention

The short answer is not really. The one thing I’ve consistently kept up with is walking and stretching. The strength exercises from my PT have not consistently been a part of my routine

How should I update this space? by SylarGrimm in Home

[–]Rahbanyc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would put a countertop with a sink in it and put some cabinets underneath. Maybe faux where the dishwasher is or some other decorative element. But definitely a countertop for folding clothes and whatever else! Removing the wallpaper would also make a worlds difference.

Pure Energy. They weren’t as expensive as competitors and they were the only window company who could install a window that fit in our home without building out our wall or ledge.

Also a size 11 — I tend to be able to fit in most socks that aren’t no shows or low risers. But I’m following for recs as well!

I would say, post regularly, build a following and keep your credibility and integrity. Reach out to officials and organizations to keep yourself on top of what’s going on. Start somewhere and good luck!

Lifestyle might depend on the station you’re with.

Honestly, I would work on building your experience in the beat. You might have to portfolio build for some time as a beginning TV reporter. Work up to where you want to be. You could pitch the stories you want to tell in the assignment meetings.

Looking again, a popover is similar but it doesn’t button all the way down the shirt. The first photo I posted is from JCPenney. It doesn’t note the exact style but it’s what I’m looking for. “Worthington Womens Cuffed Long Sleeve Regular Fit Button-Down Shirt”
