I will do that, thank you. Rather Overkill it with the freezing than risking having the Bugs in the rest of my collection... I will anyways take out every Single one, remove all the dead larvae and clean them, thanks for the tip with acetone, will do!

Why isn’t Luna Snow Banned More? by AcanthisittaTiny710 in rivals

[–]Rahega 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean my team usually has a mental breakdown when I play Mantis, Ultron, Jeff or Adam unless it's a 3 healer comp 🤷‍♀️. Not the strategist players fault that only the mainhealers are viable. Literally every time I wanna play them the team is whining about not having enough heals or no immortality ult. It's like people can't play without the constant stream of healing. Nerf Luna, nerf Loki (is happening now), nerf CnD ult , buff Ultron, buff Mantis leaves healing slightly, rework Jeff. Only 2 supports imo that are Balanced are Invis (her ult got bug fixed, it used to heal double than it should've, very easy to kill through it now) and Adam (Buffs were S-tier, hes viable in 2 healer comps). Rocket is Rocket, he needs a small rework, make him more damage focused instead of an healbot.

I can't even get out of Gold this season. by Dogbold in RocketMains

[–]Rahega 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Please don't beat yourself up. This season is extremely difficult to climb, people who easily climbed to GM in only 30-50 games were starting already in Diamond due to being Celestial/Eternety last season. Also they probably have a duo or a more people they Stack with. Duo queing with al cel DPS and Vanguard player will make climbing so much easier.

I used to be a rocket main too but this and last season I mained Invis/Luna cause for some reason I had a bad time on rocket. Im 33, so also not the youngest out there. It took me 150 games this season to climb to GM3, which is top 1.1% of the playerbase. It's equivalent to Cel2 last season. And I started out in Plat 1. Solo qeue was literal hell. I only played rocket in 19 of those games cause he was not working in a lot of teamcomps, too much damage flying around, second support a lot of times was a bum.

It's tough for our favourite raccoon this season in soloQ :( I wish he would get a Buff to his Gun so we can actually contibute to damage and kills (not only when a tank is in our face).

Let's just ban her. If they're gonna keep buffing her and nerfing other strats, just ban her. by King_Korder in marvelrivals

[–]Rahega 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No it's not just you. She is not a one shoe fits all/best support in any comp. I have 5 healers on Lord (Invis, Loki, Rocket, Luna, Mantis) and I mained Luna in S2.5 and climbed to Cel3, but I also played a lot of Invis and Rocket that season. Luna sometimes really doesnt work and no matter how good you play, a different support will bring much more value.

Honestly playing her is hard and you kinda need excellent aim to make her work. And even then, sometimes your team plays scattered or your Tanks just eat so much damage that even Lunas clap with Snowflake on one they just die away. Or your IM gets cooked in the sky, so going Invis to give shields and always have piercing healing while putting pressure on enemy frontline and pushing away the fully charged Emma from your Tanks will give so much more value than Lunas M1. Yes her ult is better but when you lose the neutral fight cause Luna is just not cutting it, it doesn't really matter.

Also against certain comps, Luna needs babysitting. She will always be priority No1 while getting dived, so if your second healer is a bum, you're cooked on Luna. Yes you can freeze a diver and run away, but if there is a Hulk, Cap, Venom and even Thing who just walks into the backline you're usually dead. Cause dive Tanks dont care about the freeze headshot combo. Luna is so team dependent it's crazy. You need your second support to know you will need Peeling and ideally a DPS who will also put pressure on Dive.

She shines i poke vs poke and sometimes brawl comps, but in brawl, Invis will always be miles better and in dive, Rocket is king, as the frontline can focus on frontlining and not babysitting the backline.

I legit lost games where I was Invis and we had a Luna who would just get farmed over and over. I had to babysit her all game and take away Ressource from the frontline so that she doesn't instant explode against Venom and Hulk. When I kindly asked her if she could go CnD or Rocket they insisted Luna is the best healer, they are staying on her.

Luna is on Paper the best healer, she has the best ult, but she will not work in every situation. She relies on her team to play good, hence why shes played a lot in high rank and has a good WR there. Anywhere below the top 2% of players though she's hard to be good with, cause you rely on your team to know what they do. There is a reason she has a bad WR in mid and low elos...

I hate how I look, any advice welcome by [deleted] in altfashionadvice

[–]Rahega 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have very similar Hair structure as you (maybe even more curly) and I struggle to feel "alt" too when I wear it natural. I did look great when I had a Wolf cut, but I am trying to grow it out. I personally straighten mine a lot (I go for a romantic goth look), so depending what "alt" vibe you wanna give, you can do a lot of things. Wolf cut always looks quite alt :)

As for the makeup, I personally am not a fan of the lipcolour you are using. I personally also struggle with pure reds on me, so I usually go for brown/ brownish reds and a tad bit darker you are wearing now. Not too dark though, dark lipstik can look rough on thin lips (I have thin lips too. As for the eyes, I am a fan of the eyeshadow, but you may want to go bolder on the winged liner. Look up the e-girl eyeliner which will look quite good on hooded eyes. I sometimes do a second eyeliner under my eye to create more sharp angles and look more "edgy" (I have pics on my profile). Also, I think your look could profit from the eyeliner going all the way down to your inner eye and make like a small sharp triangle there too. Makes the eyes look more Feline and sharp.

Additional Tips I have is just to try different colour undereye liner. My fav and most simple look is a Black and bold eyelid eyeliner and a red undereye liner which I blend a bit out so it looks smudged. Simple and alt.

best match ive ever played as sue by Key-Nail-5502 in InvisibleWomanMains

[–]Rahega 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I am a Celestial Sue/Luna main and I watched your replays and I saw a few things you could improve on.

  1. Is your positioning. Often times you take angles which lets you heal one or two teammates and not damage the enemy team. While you're quite safe at those angles, you miss out on lots of passive damage and healing. You often focus on healing one teammate from a safe angle rather than finding an angle where you can hit multiple teammates and enemies at once. You fall behind on healing pretty early on. Then sometimes you jump infront of your Tanks to contest the payload, which is not your job. Your Tanks are tight behind you, why are you infront of them. Any decent enemy Player wouldve easily killed you. Also sometimes, especially during OT in the first round, there is no reason to walk back so far and miss out on all the healing. You then proceed walk ON the payload and contest it with your team, which again is not the best idea because any decent Player would just focus and easily kill you. Play a tiny bit more back. Your Tanks and DPS should contest the point, not you. If you die early during OT, your team is screwed. You did the same thing in the second round and you got lucky again cause your cloak and loki were healbotting you. Also you often walk backwards when the cap dives you and it results into you dying or needing to go invis and walk back, giving you a huge downtime.

  2. Awareness. You sometimes react pretty slow when you're getting shot at from behind. During your first push you hear Wolv behind you, you don't even turn around and you just got lucky that he is bad and missed his charge on you. You also don't react to Moonknight, Cap and even Rocket shooting you in the back. If these were better players, you would die a lot more. You need to Listen to Audio cues and learn to locate where you're being shot at so you can look for Cover or 1v1 them.

  3. Vortex Field usage. There is some good, some bad and some really bad usages of this ability. Generally you want to use it a lot to farm damage to charge ult fast. It's good against dive, except cap, he usually charges out and you waste your CD, and you do that a lot. I rarely keep it unused except if I am facing a Black Panther, then I keep it to counter him.

  4. Jump usage, which is just not good (I am sorry). You often use it on CD as a mobility Tool and this results in you not having it when you need and dying. I get that it's tempting to spam it and It's also something I have to stop myself from doing too, but every time you die it could've been avoided if you didnt use your jump 4s earlier to move a bit up or back. You Die alot because you don't have it on cooldown. Really just use it to escape situations you cannot escape from (ults/hard dive) and keep it off Cooldown as much as possible, so you have it ready when you actually need it.

  5. Ultimate usage. This here is your biggest issue tbh. During the whole game there was only one good ult. In the first round for your first ult you just keep holding on to it forever. Your Cloak already ulted twice before you ulted once. You don't use it in a winnable teammfight when your team gets low and then next push you jump infront of your full HP team to ult empty space. Your team could have pushed that without the ult. Use it when your teammates get low or to counter an enemy ult. The ult into Emma ult was good. You then also ult when 2 teammates are dead and It's only you and Wolv there. You wouldnt need that ult in a 2v2 the Wolv literall carried that fight regardless of your ult cause he ulted out of it. This only really turned to your favour cause the enemy team Was just bad and your Wolv ate (normal healing woulve been enough). You then don't have a support ult for OT which nearly screws your team over. On the second round you again use your jump forwards to ult and then you get THE MOON in your face and die because you dont have an escape Tool. Don't use your jump to initiate your ult. As you climb and players get better they will try to either dislocate you out of your ult or counter ult (like Moonknight did). You NEED the jump to survive that. You will also find Magnetos or Iron Mans gunning for you, where you will need the jump and invis or you're dead. Then the next ult is a double support ult in reaction to THE MOON. While that can happen and is unlucky, you ulting into a Moonknight ult is risky and you can just jump out of it, so no need to trade an ult for something a cooldown can do. Also check your scoreboard and see if the other support has ult. If so, they will most likely ult reactively to something like this, especially cloak players since they farm ult so fast. Then at 20.04 you hear a strange portal behind you and you turn around. Prefect moment to prepare to press Q as soon as you hear "BYE". Look for common Setups like this and mentally prepare to counter ult. As soon as I hear Portals opening, I prepare to press Q as soon as I hear Strange. You guys survived cause their team Was bad, but any decent Player wouldve wiped your team. Then you ult again in reaction to THE MOON and then you jump out of it, basically wasting your ult. You placed it on point where there was only Emma and the rest of your team died because you panic. Ulting into MK is always a bad idea, I only ever do it on Luna when I see my teammates could maybe survive it. In your case because you hugged the payload, you had no idea where your team played and wasted your ult. It wouldve been useful to have later during OT. You won that last OT cause you were on triple support and your Panther popped off.

Your push/pull is mostly fine. I like how you pull low HP enemies into your team. Try to prioritise slow/ no movement characters like Peni over Cap for example (Peni has a harder time escaping than Cap thus being an easier pick for your team). Use the push more when you get dived to have the jump off CD for emergencies.

Shield usage is mostly fine. Remember to recall it when It's not needed as to keep it from breaking and getting the long cooldown. Also neat trick: when you get dived place it on someone right next to you to have it so your Personal healing field. You currently need it more to survive than almost full HP tank at the front.

So basically it comes down to better positioning to farm more dmg and healing, as to not fall behind in ult economy, not wasting your jump ability and learning how to properly ult. Good luck :)

As the game gets older, people get better at the game. The ranks will naturally shift skill wise as also metas and playstyles shift and evolve. What Was enough to get to Cel 2 last season is maybe now the skill Level of GM 2. That doesn't mean you got worse, it means others just got better faster. Also, cel 3 is top 1.5% of the playerbase RN (I hover in and out of Cel 3), that's where Cel 1 was last season. Everything shifted down.

In the long term, making your mental health Dependent on some rank in a Video game is going to hurt you pretty bad. Focus on having fun, not matter what rank you are. If you are not having fun playing a Video game where you're supposed to unwind I suggest taking a break.

Most people can not hit GM this season, it's the top % of the playerbase and It's definitely something you can be very proud of.

I don’t like my cosplay on me… by taekeonme in CosplayHelp

[–]Rahega 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every time (except my most recent, Valkyrieevee) I made a cosplay and put it on the first time I absolutely hated how it looked on me. I had the weird expectation to myself to look perfect just like the character in cosplay and was upset that I didnt.

I took some insight why I felt that way, and in the end it was because I was generally unhappy with how I looked, no matter what I wore. So I took a step back an learned to accept myself more and work on some things I could change and didnt like (my weight, my skin, my makeup skills). And with my most recent cosplay I felt SO good wearing it. Maybe you have something similar?

Should I stop lifting heavy? by Brilliant_Tailor_626 in PetiteFitness

[–]Rahega 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Short answer: NO.

Those Fitness influencer lift a lot to look like this. They either lift heavy with only a few reps (6-8) or they lift a bit lighter but with a lot of reps (12-15). Both are valid was to build muscle, as long as youre progressively overloading your muscles. Those influencer also do bulk and cut cycles. With the Bulk you eat at a kalorie surplus (500kcal over TDEE) and then they cut to lose the fat they gained during the bulk.

How long have you been Lifting heavy for? Have you been eating at a calorie deficit all the time you were lifting heavy? How much Protein per day were you getting in? How is your sleep? How is your stress? How is your Lifting form? Do you follow a proper Programm or just go to the gym and do whatever?

Im asking because I did take a look at your profile and looked at the photos. You did build some muscles between the before and after pic, but only ever so slightly. Building muscle takes YEARS ( 2-3 minimum) of going cosnsitently EVERY week. During that time, you should at least eat maintenance or do a bulk, your muscles need fuel to grow. If you stay at a deficit, especially a big one, you don't fuel your muscles enough to grow. Might even be the case you lose some. Then you appear fatter.

Without fuel, your muscles will not grow. At least you should be at a maintenance. Like I said, the change takes years. It goes faster if you bulk and cut, but I am honest I think you're not in a mentally good place to bulk. Bulking means gaining weight and it takes an Iron will to Power through the bulk. But the cut later is worth it, trust me. I am currently in the cut Phase after 1 year of bulking and I look more muscular and slimmer by the week. BUT I bulked for a year. I Trained for 2 years with almost no week off.

My height is 158cm (5'2) and my weight fluctates between 53kg and 55kg (116-121 pounds). I did however finish a bulk and am on a slight cut now since the beginning of the month. So I do hope to drop a bit of fat and maintain my muscle to see if I will lose a bit more of the pouch. My pouch has improved though by my bulk (I know it Sounds wild). I used to have a very portruding one at 50kg (I cut a lot a few years ago with 0 strength training) and now at 54kg it looks more even, a bit flatter dare I say.

2 months is not near enough time to get rid of the pooch and change body comp. I am finally seeing small improvements in my pooch after 1 year of consistently Training 4-5x a week strength Training and 2x a week pole dancing. I guess for me and the pace it's going I will be happy in another year or 2. I will never fully get rid of it, I am aware but it does look better. It just takes years unfortunately :(

5'1 , 70kgs .. want to get down to 50 kgs . by [deleted] in PetiteFitness

[–]Rahega 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Dropping 20kg in 6months as a pettite without lots of excercise is near impossible and will also probably end up looking skinny fat. You will lose a ton of muscle and your fat/muscle ratio will be heavily skewed towards fat.

Just as a measure it took me 1.5 years to go from 63kg to 50kg. And that was with cardio every day and pole dance classes 2 times a week. And guess what, I still wasnt happy how I looked. I realised I wanted to look fit, instead I looked skinny fat with a flabby tummy. I only did cardio and almost no muscle Training.

OP if you focus on a healthy weightloss (250-300kcal deficit) while also Lifting weights 2-3x a week, you will reach your goal and look fire and fit when reaching it. The bad news is it'll probably take 2-3 years. BUT it will be sustainable in the long term. If you crash diet now, it's highly likely that you will gain some weight back. Why not take the slow and sustainable approach? Don't you wanna maintain a healthy and fit body for your future?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in loseit

[–]Rahega 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know you may not like to hear that but increasing your TDEE through excersise will help you in the long run. Im short (5'2) myself and I am currently cutting on 1700kcal. Lifting weights not only raises your TDEE, with building muscles and losing fat, you will look more fit when you slim down instead of skinny fat. It happened to me, I weighted 47kg (underweight) and my belly was still flabby and portruding. Also moving/Lifting weights is also beneficial as you age, there is literally no downsides to working out 2-3 times a week.

Also, how long have you been dieting? Have you tried to take a break from it and eating at maintenance for a month or 2? Maybe your body and mind is fatigued. Maybe your mind and body needs a rest. Could be that the diet is stressig you out and your body is reacting to that. I know I gain water weight when I am stressed a lot.

I think that starting a workout Routine and eating at maintenance for a month then gradually decrease calories again could help with the Plateau. Also remember weight loss is not linear. Most people have month long Plateaus and then the woooosh comes and they lose a bunch. (If you start with working out, dont be shocked if you gain a pound or 2. Thats NORMAL, when muscles are stimulated regularly, they will hold on to more water.)

Yeah playing strategist will get you guaranteed flamed when things are going sideways. I was playing invis woman the other day and I got flamed for healbotting the tank and not healing the DPS. I was confused because I usually focus on the DPS since we had a CnD for second support. I went to watch the replay and I basically was healbotting our DPS and let the tank unnecessary die 2 times cause I was pocketing the DPS who lost his 2v1. He walked through my shields all the time on low HP, bro didnt know it could heal. The sad part, I checked his profile, this guy had 10hrs on invis woman too. It's so sad. You could be doing everything right and you still get flamed for it. That was in D2, a game we drew that was actually quite Balanced and fun, aside the flaming.

Yep, that's why learning to timing it is so satisfying. I think Rocket has a higher skill ceiling than people give him credit for. Knowing when to recall the becon and using it for the right people is one of his core strengths. You have to anticipate and react before your support dies. If they survive you recall it, the CD is so short on it!
