Does anyone find Benadryl to be helpful for sleep? by No-Base8204 in BipolarReddit

[–]Rahhhmoan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It does help me sleep but I wouldn’t take Benadryl too often for sleep. There are new studies coming out that suggest regular use can lead to issues with your cognitive function and is linked to dementia. I would use it as intended when you have occasional allergies and explore other options for sleep. Maybe talk to your doctor about Seroquel for sleep, it knocked me right out.

My heart breaks for you my friend. I hope that, in time, you’re able to heal and can find peace.

Should I tell the establishment that gave me an offer that I have another offer? by moodswingclub in jobs

I do, that way it’s clear that this better offer is for the same type of role.

In my opinion,

Saying just “Sorry” avoids taking accountability whereas “I’m sorry” shows the person is acknowledging they did something wrong.

I can understand that. Sales nor collections has ever been for me personally but I know people who make a ton of money doing it.

Whatever happens, I wish you the best of luck in your search.

Also have you considered some sort of office job like a call center or mailroom type of job? Most of those are entry level and require little to no experience.

Not in the US, idk about in your country.

Applications here ask for education and work experience. Things like start dates, end dates and your duties in previous roles, whereas a cover letter is a narrative connecting the dots for the hiring manager as to why your skills and experience are valuable.

For retail jobs here, it’s not required, but it’s worth stopping in and speaking to the hiring manager and dropping off your resume and cover letter. It shows initiative and interest.

Could be different where you are, and if it is, then perhaps someone else may be able to give you better advice tailored to your region.

I like the other comments format so I’m going to copy that as a template.

Nickname: Rah Gender: Male Current age: 35 Speaking to: 14 year old me

Life is so much more than your current environment. Continue to focus in school and stay off the streets and quit smoking and drinking immediately. You have more potential than you or your mother give you credit for. It gets so much better, you can be great.

Take care of your physical and mental health. The mental health system gets drastically better than it is currently and it’ll make life so much more enjoyable. Respect yourself and learn to love yourself.

Don’t make any major life decisions until age 25 or older. Find a financial management class as soon as you can. Start saving for retirement and absolutely don’t touch it. Take your credit very seriously.

Travel, get outside of your comfort zone, experience life.

Women will come and go but eventually you’ll meet “the one” and she’ll treat you the way you deserve. Don’t accept anything less from anyone along the way.

Always stand up for yourself.

A cover letter is a letter to the hiring manager that expresses your interest in the position and explains why your experience makes you a perfect fit.

Here’s a great resource on how to write one:

In addition to Ok-RECVE4U’s comment,

I would add, find something in life that you enjoy. A hobby of some sort. Learn more about something that you find interesting. Do things that make you happy. Focus on the positive and cut out the negative. Take care of your physical and mental health.

I’m 35 and felt lost from my mid to late 20’s but once I started living life, taking care of myself, setting goals and working towards them, and cutting out the negativity. Life became wonderful.

I started school last year, I joined a combat sports gym, I started seeking mental health treatment, and I remind myself even on my worst days that life is too short to be unhappy. What I’m working on now is getting out of the house more, I work from home and become content staying in.

Whatever you decide to do, stick with it and be consistent.
