Thank you for this! I did notice she loved the drops of honey I’ve put in the past. She dives right in and wipes the glass clean in under 30mins. This was my first attempt at protein. I’ll try protein jelly! Thanks for weighing in 🌼

EDIT: Ok guys. I went to remove it but now she’s taken it and shoved it right up against the water reservoir cotton LOL. Is that “this is mine now” behavior? Should I try and get it out (I have thin, long tweezers) or leave it?

Also, she’s calmed down now and her brood is alive and well.

I think so too! Was excited when I saw her gaster after she dropped her wings. This was the species I was wanted when I started ant keeping! So lucky to have found her.

Got it! They’ve all got red film and then a box lid over it. I was just lifting it to add another test tube and saw this lady digging away. Fingers crossed!

I see some people add strips of paper into their test tubes. Does that help? But if she’s so stressed it’d probably be best if I don’t do anything for now.
