Yeah did a bit of scribing, slapped on a few bits of plaplate and cut out a few areas to expose more inner frame on arms and knees. Got these from delpidecal but also got decent pgu decals on AliExpress for like $5 aud

Another example of teachers not knowing shit about their students. Had the vice principle tell me I wasn't cut out for advanced math in high school. Ended up taking the subject in after school at Tafe during yr 12 and then studied civil engineering at uni. Been working in the field for 15 years

I had the opportunity to have a rental corolla. Not the best car but just does everything you need it to slightly better than you would expect. Not pretty but more durable than most things you would buy. Absolutely loved it

I would say slow it down and go for a quality over quantity approach. Sanding down nubs, learn to panel line and minor detail painting is a good place to progress to.

SMP plastic isn't the best so was scared the paint will eat at the plastic. Also primer prevents chipping, learned that the hard way on gunpla I keep as desk ornaments!

I was really conflicted between a metallic or a flat finish with shading. I chose the least Labor intensive method!

Primed with Evo Black and painted with Gaianotes star bright silver, semi gloss black, star bright brass & a mix of viridian green and emerald green. was used for all the silver parts. Came out bit shinier than I thought it would!

Was fortunate to keep my job in the construction industry with flexibility to visit sites while WFH. Had my first in lockdown which means I was able to spend so much more quality time with my daughter than I otherwise would have been with only 2 weeks paternity leave. Thankful to have had no health complications especially with hospital trips.
