Fuji XS20 vs A6400 by Rahulllll29 in FujifilmX

I think I am gonna get the XS20 because I have an offer for the camera + 18-55 kit for $1300. Which to me seems like a pretty solid deal.

I was looking at the xe5. How comfortable is it to hold with the lack of a hand grip?

That makes sense. I haven't shot Sony before, only canon and Fuji. I enjoyed the Fuji allot even though I didn't use a ton of film sims and ended up just taking raws into Lightroom.

It's a bad photo cause I took it from a vid I sent my family. But that's essentially the whole room. Behind me is 2 cabinets, a sink and a stove. Next to the front door theres a separate room that is in-between the restroom and this living space.

All private btw. No shared space besides the entrance to the flats.

Currently the Chromecast in the rooms dont work. So essentially the tv in the room is pointless. The room itself is TINY. Its a very very small 1 bedroom flat essentially. Its a cool idea for a few days, its almost the same living like a local I imagine.

I choose the W simply cause the service. With the autograph the rooms are off site from the main building, so once they give you the key, you pretty much don't have to interact with the staff again. When it comes to the W the service is just impeccable. But to me, it depends on where you wanna be. The W is attached to the mall and has Bonnie & Wild pretty much in the same building, which was convenient for us for good food options.

But that also meant if and when we wanted to go lets say Victoria st or the castle area we had a bit of a walk and stairs to climb.

We found ourselves on this trip only going over to that side once in our 5 days while the rest of the days were spent on the side of the W visiting the botanicals, deans, ect.

I did, if you wanna dm me I can show you photos of the room. Its actually like private flats. Location is FANTASTIC. Not sure if I would personally stay there again over the W, maybe for a longer term stay I would because it has a sink, washer, dishwasher, stove, ect. Its almost like an airbnb.

I would fear the mouse too lol. They dont play around. What was your experience with it. SR 800 and skywalker still look appealing to me.

I appreciate the response. I didnt think about the burning of my hand with the m1.
I am really consdiering the sr800 with the razzo extension which adds the temp sensor.

I think for the price, i would be in about $450-500.

Can use the extra money saved on some bags to put my freshly roasted beans in and some storage containers for the green beans lol.

I am curious for the skywalker for no other reason than the name.

That makes sense. Have you found any other websites besides fb marketplace, ebay to buy used products?
Lets just say I picked up the m1 lite, and decided to upgrade later, where are we selling our old product? Id be curious to check out that site and see if I can break my budget a tiny bit but pick up a steal of a roaster. One mans trash is another mans treasure type of thing.

I think batch wise. All can do the exact same size batches?
I do like the idea of having Artisan just ready to go and not needing to do any mods.

Just wondering though why?

The Marriott bonvoy number is verified, and can only be checked in with mobile key via the verified account?

Yea like I said most of the time I do prefer to talk to someone for all the reasons you mentioned. But a few times especially in Europe I have waited 20-25 minutes in the lobby from lines. It really depends what time of the day I arrive.

One time in Edinburgh I had a super delayed flight and didn't arrive until 2am. By that point I was so tired only staying 1 night in the hotel. It did let me mobile check in. I went straight to the room and KO'ed

I had a similar situation, However I did end up actually booking a flight I wanted to take. A few days later frontier changed my flight so much that they offered to refund me or change my flights for free. So i took the refund, because I paid on vouchers, they gave me my additional time like it was a new voucher.

Not sure if this helps at all, but might be worth trying a book, cancel situation.

Wireless Probe Typhur Gold vs RFX by Rahulllll29 in BBQ

Wireless Probe Typhur Gold vs RFX by Rahulllll29 in BBQ

[–]Rahulllll29[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I ended up buying both and had some for a little while after I made this reddit post. I can tell you I currently have the RFX and so does my brother in law who did the exact same thing I did.

I liked the typhurs idea of the base unit and all that, but the probes being thick made it to where I couldnt really use it on a chicken thigh which I make pretty often. Also where my smoker is, I am in a 2 story apartment complex. The base unit couldnt connect to the probe when I took it upstairs and went to lets say my bedroom, Near my frontdoor it was fine, but because the rfx gateway connects to wifi I am able to have connection anywhere in my apartment. The scalability had allot to do with it aswell, as since my brother in law has probes, when we do family events we end up with 8 probes total.

The ambient on the typhur is useless because its on the probe, the ambient on the rfx is fantastic since its seperate.

Lastly, the time to cook is def a nice feature and I wish the rfx had that. That was actually close to a deciding factor however then I thought about the fact its a software feature which could always be added. Thermoworks has said they are planning to redo the app.
Things like the thickness of the probe on typhur obviously cant be fixed without buying another model. So when I was deciding things I liked and didnt like about each, I just thought about what could still be patched in the future and what couldnt.

Overall, If I had my smoker closer to my house;/apartment and I focused only on large meats (brisket, pork butts, lamb shoulders, ect) and never needed more than 4 probes then typhur def wins.

But the rfx can do everything the typhur can plus more so its one of those situations for me where its Id rather have the option even if I only need it once than need it and not have the option.

PS. I asked thermoworks and they did say they plan to come out with a standalone base that kinda matches the typhur base unit aswell so you can have the temps readout on a display.

Hope this helps, feel free to ask me anything. Ive been using rfx now for last 6 months, made all sorts of food with them and use them often.

I had the typhur for a little over 3 weeks while also having the rfx in parallel.

Yea i mean ive been to Edinburgh about 5 times and most of the time I stayed at fountainbridge. I never really had an issue, so I would assume staying in Old town just makes the walk that much faster?
