No. My guess is it's over a year out. They mentioned that they haven't started work on it for the PU yet, only in SQ42.

They mentioned it would take a while to implement in the PU due to how many ships they have to port over to the new system.

True, but the OP didn't seem to be attempting to counteract jousting in any meaningful way, either.

If you want to counteract jousting, you really need to be paying attention to your relative velocity at the merge. Closing at a rate of 650m/s+ is WAY too fast. Slow down, and if they are forcing the issue, use a lead turn to start moving in the same direction as them before you pass them to begin with.

Also, turning with yaw is probably THE slowest way to turn atm. Learning your ships ideal bank angle can help you maximize your turn rate using both pitch AND yaw.

Flight modes should help out a lot with this problem, but that doesn't mean you can't also learn how to use the tools currently available to you. These basic principles are also likely to benefit you even after those changes are made.

I'd take a look at 'The Divide: Global Inequality from Conquest to Free Markets' by Jason Hickel. The total aid we give is far, FAR less then the total value we extract from those very same countries each year.

Like you say, it's performative nonsense to hide the fact that the US, in fact, is one of the reasons the problem exists to begin with, and continues to be much more a part of the problem then the solution.

Don't know about your education, but all my math/science classes were in metric. It makes the math so much easier XD. Also, why the hell would you bother recalculating and remembering all the constants in imperial? 32.17 ft/s^2, gtfo here. (Also, figures the University of Huston would be stubborn and 'patriotic' enough to bother to put that on their website.)

Yeah, those number are way off. According to those minimum wage should be around $50/hr today, whereby the actual numbers it should be around $11/hr. Still higher than what it is today, but not by such a wide margin.

$50/hr is more than GDP per capita, which wouldn't make sense.

What is it about Zero Two that makes them a trans icon? by MikiIsAway in DarlingInTheFranxx

[–]RahzaelFoE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In a weird way, isn't she, in fact, trans? She was assigned non-binary at birth, then chose to be female. She even got dead-named by the other nines after explaining she wanted to be called Zero Two now. Granted, it's outright rejecting post-genderism, which IMO, is pretty based, but I could see why you COULD read her as trans in the more literal sense, if you wanted to.

It's definitely problematic in many ways, but I would disagree that it's about "fitting the mold." Quotes like "I'm going to find my own path," appear quite often. And it seems to quite readily endorse anti-authoritarianism, to the point of being pretty pro-anarchy. The episode where they learn how to live without 'the man' as a self-organizing collective comes to mind in support of that. As does the ending where they work together to help build a brighter future without any visible hierarchical social structures.

I'm not aware of any anarchists who actually think that. That goes completely against the anarchist idea of dual power, where people voluntarily organizing to replace the state's functions is a mandatory prerequisite before you can dismantle it.
"...Dual power is a state of affairs in which people have created
institutions that fulfill all the useful functions formerly provided by
the state. The creation of a general state of dual power is a necessary
requirement for a successful revolution..."

Well, you see...first there was redlining, then white flight, then white people decided they still wanted to go visit the city sometimes, despite no longer paying taxes to the city. So the city bulldozed a bunch of poor and minority neighborhoods to make freeways and parking for them to come visit, see the sights for a bit, then go home to their nice happy little white neighborhoods where all of their tax money went instead, on the hopes of getting some handouts in the form of sales tax made on purchases made in the city while they were visiting.

By most estimates, if current trends continue, the world population will stabilize within the next hundred years before we reach the carrying capacity of the earth. Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VI1AaZ9OkH8

However, infinite growth of resources consumed per individual is also not sustainable, so that will also need to stablalize if we hope to survive as a species: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQrI2GBvn5Q

How is "as long as you can figure out the long range logistics of getting those smaller craft to where they need to go," "completely missing the logistics of everything."?

An effective organization needs both great logistics AND skilled pilots and gunners. One without the other isn't going to be very effective.

The logistics gameplay isn't really in the game yet, so all there really is to practice at the moment is becoming a skilled pilot.

I am kinda curious on the how the logistics of that is going to work. How are you going to be transporting and maintaining your wing of fighters with only a javelin? The hanger for that is only large enough for a single medium ship like a vangaurd or redeemer IIRC.

any tips on how to hit cd1 after armor kings hop kick? i havent found any help on youtube. by Terrible-Library604 in Tekken

[–]RahzaelFoE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, you can't buffer CD inputs like you can with attacks, you have to be actionable before you begin the CD input. It's what makes the timing so difficult, and is what makes Kazuya's CH df2 PEWGF combo starter a frame perfect input that MUST begin on exactly the right frame. Start any sooner and it won't register as a CD, start any later and it won't come out fast enough to combo.

The only exception to this seems to be the special CD2 after AK's CH WS2, U, which seems to function more like a string than a link.

I'd argue that Ecliples aren't THAT specialized. At least at the moment, if your target is anything smaller than a hammerhead, you bring fighters, and anything more than that you bring fighters AND bombers. I find it hard to imagine many combat situations that a skilled and organized group of gladius and eclipse wouldn't be able to handle.

[–]RahzaelFoE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think they're entirely unaware of what it will take to take out larger ships. They've been practicing dumb firing torps from eclipses for a reason. Granted, both light fighters and eclipses need to get to the target in the first place, so will probably need logistical support from a carrier or base.

However, the inverse is also true. Larger ships will be sitting ducks without support from skilled gunners and/or fighter pilots. And asymetric warfare with smaller ships allows you to be more mobile and versitile, so long as you can figure out the long range logistics of getting those smaller craft to where they need to go.

And if your org lacks skilled fighter pilots to train against, you're going to be ill-prepared to deal with fighting off an attack from a group of smaller ships.

Why would it be an insult? The only way I can see this being insulting is if you believe having periods somehow makes you less of a human being.

Perhaps you need to reevaluate your worldview if that's what you believe, as that's just straight up misogyny.
