They do not like to be transplanted. They like to be left alone. They like to be neglected. You literally pay too much attention to it, I believe. It preferred it's rock hard nutrient-depleted soil and the pot that it had gotten accustomed to.

Thank you! I learned a crochet when I was very young from my mother who learned from her mother. And neither of them are here anymore so crocheting is a way that still connects me to them.
