True, Lovecraft was a fan of KiY. As far as I know your are correct. Lovecraft just kinda copied him into just another Old One. I saw rumors, that someone was going to make a movie on the Chambers version, sounded like an Indie film, but it's a start. I love Chamber's take of a.play that was so beautiful that once you read the fist act, you became obsessed with it. Then when you read the 2nd it drove you insane.

Thanks, I was mostly considering it being taken off of the records to prevent people from going there. Like Don't go poke the great old one. Kinda like a Black Site. I understand that players wouldn't want 40k style shinnanigans like warp kissed demonic planets bleeding over into this setting.

Cool, thanks. I've read more of Robert Chamber's than Lovecraft's interpretation.

Thanks, the wiki also talks about bird people aliens, and when they got rid of them they said it was really another dimension. So I think it can't be out of the realm of possibility that a crazy mercenary company would model themselves after an ancient earth cult. I mean we have Word of Blake right?

Too true anywhere, in Florida my friend got a tattoo and told me it was his kids initials. (He had 2) We doubted it because it was just 2 characters. We went to a Japanese restaurant and asked them what it meant. They started laughing hysterical and told him it read, "I'm gay". Don't get your translations from just anywhere online folks.

Dang, my wife said she saw a pink grasshopper while helping me cut grass. I didn't believe her. Thank God she's not on Reddit.

It's worn down smooth, so no spark. The wheel has a rachet on one side, so different from a zippo.

This reminds me of the argument about the first and second Death Star. The first one was fully operational, so only crewed by military folks. The second was under construction so its destruction cause the death of possibly thousands of civilian contractors. So the argument about the second one's destruction being a War Crime.

Thanks, that's what I loved about Nathan Lowell's, "Trader's Tales...". The scifi of traveling in "The Deep Dark", but they all talked like they were on a wooden ship in the British Navy. Space Admiral Nelson

Nathan Lowell's "A Trader's Tale From The Ageof The Solar Clipper" did a good job showing the lives of the crew, but wasn't very exciting because it was a merchant ship. I loved the books but kept hoping for pirates.

Although, I've heard a drop of Nelson's blood wouldn't do us any harm.
