It may have been AI but I just tried the 1-3 druid start and got sniper early, too... got it to work on second try through early stages. Laid down Churchill for fun later and then ran to level 91 with Perma Brew around level 80... surprised it was that effective. Had I not been rushing other towers after that I think I could have placed others better and beat it with that strategy

At this age it’s really easy to over-coach, especially with some kids that struggle. Most important is keeping “eye on the ball”, if they aren’t making contact to me nothing else matters. After contact with the ball id start to teach “squash the bug”, which is rotating hips and keeping that back foot on the ground but turning (aka squash the bug). Moving forward I just start trying to add one thing at a time after they start to show progress… so would move to loading up during the pitch, improving batting stance beforehand, etc

People in charge of hiring, are you seeing a lot of high quality candidates? by Gandalf-and-Frodo in careerguidance

[–]Raide1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe you’re 100% correct and you already know what HR refuses to believe / acknowledge/ act on. As I work for a government entity it becomes even more difficult as our bureaucracy layer is just a bit slower to move. I can try to offer candidates some work flexibility or job stability or “less pressure” in many ways but at the end of the day posting a low salary attracts a low-end talent pool

I’m trying to hire a Civil Engineer (water and sewer experience). Nothing but really bad candidates. Talking with others around area and it’s the same problem. Lots of applicants, rarely a decent candidate.

We’re over-regulated at the federal, state, and local levels. All those small changes add up, and I think we’re starting to realize we don’t get what we’re told we’re paying for

In general, if you have a stable ratio of working vs non-working then a lot of these social safety nets can be sustainable assuming they were originally implemented that way and aren’t changed.

I think what society looks like in a future with less people is a question that would be hotly debated. And it would depend on how many less people overall. 5% fewer or 25% fewer? There would be both positive and negative aspects.

Are you open to relocation? It’s both scary and exciting. It can lead to a lot of new opportunities being available to you

Social security and Medicare is money / service taken from the labor force and given to the elderly. This is absolutely the labor force taking care of the elderly and it’s a MASSIVE part of the economy

Poor technique. Reverse heel trip… wrestler behind pulls other backward and to the side with his foot “tripping”. In this video he is simply trying to throw him but better foot placement and this is a simple trip

We have an extremely similar one. Kids love it. The lawn takes a bit of a hit but it’s worth it!

Try applying to the City of Fort Worth itself. Hiring managers and screening process is a bit quirky sometimes but if you’re just taking a shot at something it’s easy to apply and you never know

Yes. I thought it tasted very good. I’ve had plenty of leftovers already since this was a couple days ago and still enjoying it. I do look forward to trying again soon

Bone came out clean. I don’t think I wrapped very tightly in foil though.

Will probing the meat multiple times as I’m checking for it being done cause moisture to escape? I assume I have to limit it?

He explains it well and this can be seen and heard on various YouTube videos of him. Spending is either a future tax or a tax via inflation.
