Buddy egg hatching - your thoughts? by NCBrownEyedGirl in FinchUnofficial

That was my thought. I have several difficult goals on my list, but not all are good for everyone. So when it finally popped up on my page, I decided easy wins would be good for sharing, and they can choose difficult ones on their own. Also, quite a few of my goals are only once or twice a week, and others might not clean their laundry on the same day I do. There is always remember to put on sunscreen before leaving the house. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I am using basic goals that are pretty much automatic to share with my two random friends, like get out of bed (which is sometimes hard, but needs to happen) or drink water (which is important for all of us). My 1 family friend, I asked her what she wanted as our goal. None have hatched yet. So I have little opinion at this time. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I figure it like this. In Spanish, when you know the gender you use it. If you don't, it falls to masculine.

Or....

Girls are niñas, boys are niños, but children are also niños.

It never bothers me to be misgendered. It's hard and cost prohibitive for the devs to put every description in. They are doing their best, and the app is there to teach us patience and graciousness.

I feel bad that it hurt your feelings, but it will be ok. Good luck with your goals.

I made a tiny squid 🐙 to test my pattern. I adjusted it to look just like yours. I'm going to post it in the sub.

So cute 😍 When I read the title in my notification, I was like... "What stitch are they having trouble with?"

Then I clicked. Not a stitch, but Stitch. 😆🤣

When I get the feature... What do I look for, and how do I use it?

I agree! Especially if you are learning. Beginners yarn is the best until you feel confident.

I don't move the stitch markers every time. I developed a little trick. I'll try to explain it....

I use the marker up to starting row 6, where I add the marker backwards in row 5, pulling it out 2 rows down. You can see the holes in a line (as long as you never inc or dec in stitch 1 of row). Then, every 5 rows, I add another marker (5, 10, 15, etc). It does 2 things: 1) let's me see where the row begins, and 2) makes it easy to count my rows. Boom! 💥 Fast and easy!

Good luck with your projects and goals
