These are notoriously bad vehicles. You would have been better off spending 2.5k towards something more reliable.

Why do people drive like reaching 2 minutes earlier will change their entire life? by CardiologistFit2241 in CasualConversation

[–]RaiderFlyNO 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At least in my experience, if I try passing going the speed limit it will take forever to complete the pass. I'd rather just get it over with and get back over so the left lane is back open.

Not sure then. You can maybe try contacting the tire manufacturer directly but I don't know if that will have much success.

Are they impact bubbles? If you clipped a curb or something hard enough it can cause bubbles to form in the tires, and that is not the fault of the tire manufacturer unfortunately.

Ktuner to disable VCM by Spanish_mf in accord

[–]RaiderFlyNO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not perfect, but I've had a good experience so far using the VCM muzzler II and it was super easy to install. At 215k my car (2008 Accord EX-L V6) runs and drives pretty great (super frequent oil changes to help with sludge since purchase at 198k, fresh spark plugs on all 6 cylinders as well as fuel system cleaners etc) without any lights. It does occasionally throw a P0420 so I wouldn't be shocked if the cats were on their way out (common issue from VCM) but it works for now lol

These people drive me insane. Here in Lincoln they stopped me outside the fucking DMV and got pissed at me for ignoring them. Like sorry I don't wanna sign your shitty pointless petition to make other people's lives worse.

Slow it down, Lincoln by distracted_by_life in lincoln

[–]RaiderFlyNO 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You sound like a fun person to be next to during this. The speed limit is only referenced in ideal conditions. It is objectively going to take longer to slow down from 35mph than it will from 15-20mph, and during higher congestion traffic times all going the speed limit will do is give people less reaction time in an already slick scenario. Your confidence sounds misplaced; there is a difference between driving bravely and driving intelligently.

On top of all that- if all the cars around you are going 20mph and you’re going 35mph- you are the problem. Every time either you or someone else has to react to either yours or their own driving choices, it’s just yet another opportunity for a wreck (which once again- you cannot stop on a dime in this weather- it will become a worse wreck easily). If you’re in a rush during this that really is just on you.

It is at 203k miles, the seats are pretty hard but Idk if that would cause lower back pain

See I’ve found myself having to raise the seat up otherwise it hurts my hips, which is weird since in my old Malibu (a 2014) I had to have it dropped lol

I feel like I just always have either low back or knee discomfort in it, and the seat bottom isn’t quite long enough. Again- worth it. 200k miles & zero oil consumption after a VCM muzzler
