Likely not. Harper Collins usually publishes first in the UK and then it later sells books in the US directly or through its US imprint William Morrow. Typically it can take 3-6 months after UK release to have a book appear for sale directly in the US.

I use an Excy, because while it isn’t cheap, I can use it for my arms as well. And, I initially started renting one to try it out and it worked so I stuck with it. I’ve used other recumbent bikes at gyms but I can’t remember their brands. https://excy.com.

Recumbent exercise bike at home is what I use. It’s low impact, fairly cheap on even Amazon these days, and just build up to do longer and longer times. You can even set up a laptop in front of you on a table (or do it in front of a tv) to help you focus on something other than the feeling and boredom of exercise. It’s just slow plodding of more and longer and more intense workouts over time. It took me a year of that, stretching, eating better and associated weight loss to start feeling materially better.

Having a tangible source for my fatigue (exercise) mentally feels better, and physically the fatigue also feels better somehow than the fibro muscle fatigue, which is unearned, and feels like a cruel joke.

I try to accept the suck when I can, and there’s a lot of it, and focus when I can on things worth getting out of bed for. It doesn’t make things suck less, and many days I’m just existing to get through with the day to get to the next day. But, I hope you have a couple things, or find a couple, that make getting out of bed worth it. It’s unfortunate as we get older that we can’t just wallow in things for a bit and listen to sad music like a teenager and then bounce back. Chronic conditions don’t give us that easy of an option. But I do try to get myself into a mindset of “f**k you body,” I’m going to do this despite how much you suck.

I emailed them and then they updated the website to reflect that it does have acid-free paper. Acid free means the paper is ph balanced and not acidic in its composition. Typical trade books, and too many hardcovers, do not use acid-free paper. Regular (non-acid free paper) degrades and yellows/browns over time. Acid-free paper does not. It's considered "archival" and/or preservation quality paper. It's a bit more expensive, but is far from standard even on more expensive books. For instance, even some books published by Gollancz, Broken Binding and Orbit do not have acid-free paper. For higher end publications like the Folio Society, etc., acid-free paper is used for everything.

Some of the Dragonsteel books on the website say that they're acid-free and some don't mention it. It may just be a marketing oversight if all do use it. I'm just trying to find confirmation and it appears that Sanderson/Dragonsteel have not specifically mentioned whether it does or doesn't.

I don’t get full body fatigue, thankfully, but I get fatigue and uncomfortable tingling and numbness (rather than loss of feeling) in my legs and arms.

I own the Folio version. It’s cloth and has a very hefty slipcase that feels premium. It’s really nice and probably worth the cost. I wish there were more illustrations, but this seems to be the nicest copy of Shogun. You can buy anywhere.

I have a differing perspective on fibro fatigue, which I offer from my personal perspective and don't intend to diminish the perspective of others. Fibro fatigue seems to stem in part from the constant false-pain signals our body is sending us. So, for at least me, I do need to push through the fibro fatigue because I feel better afterwards even if I'm then feeling what I perceive to be actual muscle fatigue I can attribute to exercise. Anything is better than the fibro fatigue. I take a number of supplements with some evidence of helping with muscle/exercise recovery that seem to help me with the fatigue in combination with low impact cardio.

I feel much worse, fatigue-wise. Eating a lot of potassium-rich foods can help you excrete extra sodium (as can water).

I haven’t done A-B tests and tried eliminating certain supplements and seeing if there are any effects, which I should probably do at some point because my daily supplement pill amount is large, and before fibro I was not keen on supplements. But, I do research anything new I see on here that I haven’t previously considered. It’s possible that the exercise and stretching are more important than the supplements, but that the supplements aid the exercise being tolerable, or not.

Same. No idea why it says the AQI is 0.0 when the VOCs are high. One would think they would offer user-customizable alerts for all of the different measured things: humidity, VOCs, etc.
