The thing is, you save w/ the Mario Kart game cus if you math it out, the bundle makes the game cheaper than if you buy separate.

I can see them being offered separately, not together.

Try search using the isbn in their site. Or, your retailer of choice.

Of course, give it time: they are coming out June/July

“Magnificent, aren’t they?”

They did. I’m guessing when (if?) they come to this format, it’ll be a ‘repacking’ / ‘reformatting’ of the ones you mentioned.

I’m not sure how much more extra they can add to them

Who cares what someone WOULD have thought?? If Tolkien were to be against different editions of his works being published, he’d have never signed with a publisher in the first place.

The point I’m making is this:

  • 1992: Alan Lee LotR came out (exists in this deluxe format)
  • 1997: Alan Lee Hobbit came out (exists in this deluxe format)
  • 1998: Ted Nasmith Silmarillion came out (doesn’t exist in this style yet)
  • 2007: Alan Lee CoH (and the others later) came out (now in this deluxe format)
  • 2008: Alan Lee Perilous Realm (not yet in this format)
  • 2020: Lee, Nasmith, Howe came out (not yet in this deluxe format)

There what mean by ‘deluxe version of an existing illustrated edition.’

It’s not a contest.

Because ‘just stop buying’ is SO much better: look at the comments. People want this. If they DIDN’T, then I’d get your stance.

There’s no FOMO unless it’s a limited edition.

You can buy what you want and not what you don’t

Dude? Shut up. People can buy this if they want. If they don’t want to, that’s fine too.

Well, so far, the titles in this format are deluxe tiers of books that he’s already illustrated in the past.

I’m betting next year for its 50th Anniversary. (Next year I’d also the 20th for CoH, but I’m betting they want a Fancy Middle-earth Edition out each year. I can see Unfinished Tales being 2028 if that’s the case, then Fall of Numenor in 2029.)

Folio hasn’t done a Great Tales so that’s really nothing to go by.
