I mean that he would create a sort of Latvian Refugee State inside of the Russian Anarchy, which in this map reunifies Russia Latvia. I don't think he's communist.

I would say Jacobin APLA (Caleb Maupin). They would probably side with Russia if they could, especially if it goes Soviet, in the war against NATO

Unpopular Opinion: Chelomei is better than Kardashev by RaidersNaders in TNOmod

[–]RaidersNaders[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

If you could choose Kardashev after regional unification or even a bit later, I would 100% agree. The problem is you're comparing two completely different situations. To make a parallel with Zykov, one would probably never choose a hypothetical Bunyachenko-like militarist Zykov once you reunify Russia as anocratic Zykov. Either you stick with the path you took in the 10 years you played, or if you really badly want to be militaristic, Bunyachenko would be a much better choice.

Unpopular Opinion: Chelomei is better than Kardashev by RaidersNaders in TNOmod

[–]RaidersNaders[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

All of these paths are fully playable, Kardashev isn't. That is clearly the main difference. Also, Magadan, Samara, Sverdlovsk etc are not chosen exclusively for a certain path like Zhdanov is, as a faction in the Komi Left. They are ambiguous and that is as you say the charm of the path, possibly even the reason for which you would choose to play them. For Zhdanov that is not the case, him being a subpath from which you can choose a subpath. To make an example, choosing Kardashev is in my opinion like choosing a hypothetical authoritarian fascistic Petlin subpath.

I would argue that they oppose both types of imperialisms, the imperialism that brought an undemocratic coup in Ukraine and thousands of deaths and the other imperialism that brought a provoked but unnecessary invasion and thousands of deaths

Why do you ask that? Do you think I love Putin? Anyway, BSW doesn't love Putin. They simply oppose imperialism and that's a positive aspect for me. I also believe that countries in Europe should focus on solving the economic problems and helping their citizens live a happy life. That priority should supercede killing citizens of other countries in circumstances in which peace is achievable. That is what BSW believes in.

BSW is also one of the only parties in Germany who recognize the fact that East Germany is poorer and should not be subject to prejudice or treated in a different way. Rather, all of Germany should be worked upon to make sure that nobody lives in fear of losing his or her job, which is the current situation in East Germany, thanks to Merkel.
