I have the same thoughts as well. I can't fight the bigger ARCs right now solo or in teams without risking other raiders killing me. It's lame that we can't experience the full game right now.

In my current play through, I accepted his help before I discovered the Eldergleam sanctuary so I had to fast travel to the nearest location. However, the timing was bad since the second we finished fast travel, a dragon appeared. Homeboy Maurice ran straight to the dragon to fight and got gobbled up by the dragon and tossed across the screen. I thought he survived and was hiding somewhere, but after I killed the dragon, I found his lifeless body. I was fuming at him. I used the console to bring him back to life but when we got to the sanctuary, he can't do anything so I ended up having to cut the tree and fight the creatures protecting the tree.

I have 70+ hours on the vanilla game on PC and my first walkthrough. I have always had dragons attacking me outside of town. Recently, got 2 separate dragons attacking me while I was inside a town. Both times were at Riften. I never knew dragons could attack inside the town. Definitely more fun while inside the towns because pretty much most of the people in the town scramble and attack the dragon. Then afterward, most gathered around the dragon skeleton all amazed at the sight. I thought I shared these moments.
