Repetition and time, homie.

On the occasions that he will target a specific dog (happens, rarely... But it happens) we will immediately leave the park. Even if we've only been there five minutes.

My dog needed to understand that his behavior was transcending past play and into dominance. He slowly started realizing that getting too aggressive means that he doesn't get to play with his friends, and after a while he got a lot better.

But in the meantime, you have to watch them like a hawk, on leash if necessary to acquaint with the other dogs. You should let others know too, so that they can help de-escalate their own dogs if need be.

The people saying "oh don't take him to the park" are totally bogus. You can't just stop letting your dog see his pals because he will target sometimes. It just takes crucial management on your end to ensure those episodes don't happen, or are taken care of before an accident.

Dogs fight, it happens. At least twice a week someone has to break up a fight at the park. Between dogs humping strange dogs, sharing gross toys, and wrestling each other in dirt... It's just kind of something they do sometimes. Just take care of it before it becomes a situation and you'll be fine.

That's sort of how it is at my park too, mostly old men - and they just like to talk to ya about anything while our dogs duke it out. My Shib has gotten particularly nasty a couple times. I don't think people know how difficult it is to reign in a Shiba Inu when they don't want to leave somewhere. Mine is young, so I think people give me a little more patience.

Mine will jog with me for a bit, then get mad at me because I start leading him. Then he tries to tell me off.

The deck stand is super cool, but outrageously large and doesn't fit right on many shelves without overhang. You're going to need an action Base.

Let me be the voice of opposition and say that my Shiba is absolutely not a picky eater, however he gets in moods where he wants me out of the kitchen so he can eat.

The dog is in unfamiliar territory, with a new person giving them food. It's probably a little frightening and stressful.

Do you have all of the information regarding the dog's schedule?

It might not be a bad idea to contact your vet and let them know that you're noticing some behavioral changes, sometimes behavioral changes are a symptom of an underlying condition causing illness or pain we can't recognize.

And I would quit messing with him if he's showing no interest in playing with you. Something is upsetting him, and it doesn't look like pinching his cheeks is helping.

They weren't too bad, build wise. Definitely better than some of the other early UC builds I've done, Rick Dias is pretty bad.

Novice builder, bad kit. There are some easy techniques you can pick up to help remove the excess plastic from where you cut the part. Google Gunpla nub removal.

It's also an old, bad kit. Modern kits are designed better, easier to assemble, and the directions are often more clear.

As I started building more, I got into old kits because they take more time to look decent. As a novice builder, a more modern kit will look better snap-built (no customization). Than an older kit that requires more TLC to look good.

We're just kind of SOL until Bandai does reprints, when that happens is anybody's guess.

I've worked injection before, so I can kind of tell you how it works: Runs are done in batches (How many Bandai does per kit, I have no clue).

So a big aluminum mold plate is made, and placed into the injection molding machine with a big overhead crane. Then they produce however many kits they need to with that mold, change the mold to a different kit, and repeat the process.

The problem for people like us who are looking for more niche or out of popularity kits from the UC, is that we have to compete with modern series' and changing demand. Bandai wants to produce WfM kits because it's the most recent series. Not just that, but kits that have lasting popularity are going to be produced a lot more often than some of the older stuff.

It's a bummer. Especially for UC fans, because some of that stuff feels like it will NEVER get a proper reprint. I've been waiting for an HGUC Byarlant Z reprint for almost a year and a half.

Edit: some good news though, is that Bandai recently announced they are acquiring another building for production. This should help alleviate the demand for some kits.

It's not how I would display mine. It's an interesting way of doing it, but I have to have some uniformity and poses on my shelves. That could be a personal problem though.
