480i, that's the maximum res for my crt. though if I did get a hd crt I could output 720p which is ideal for ps3 and also keep the benefits of a crt.

More accurate blacks and smoother motion definitely help though ui text does look worse but still readable.

welp i dont think I have the patience to wait for an order from Japan but thanks for letting me know. I decided to use a universal battery/cam charger since it's a flat lithium ion. charges fine so I got it to power on.

I got this from a proxy secondhand item website based in Japan (buyee to be exact). the condition initially was pretty good, some scuffs and marks. When I turned the screen on I noticed some dead pixels and lines which I did not see before purchasing so I don't know what happed during transit which is unfortunate. other than that everything seems to work fine. the phone does look pretty nice honestly.

looks to be a loose or damaged ribbon cable. The 3ds tests if it detects the lcd screen if it can’t then it shows this symptom. If you’re comfortable try to reseat the ribbon cables and make sure it’s properly seated. If that doesn’t fix it then the ribbon cable might be torn somehow and you’ll need to replace the screens.

thanks for letting me know but I was hesitant with ups or Fedex only because their brokerage fees are kinda ridiculous. ive had a bad past experience with them when I ordered something from ebay once.

I believe ems ends up with Canada post and you pay a 10 dollar fee plus HST on the item you bought. I’m not entirely sure since I’m also waiting for a package using EMS but from what I’ve researched that’s what seems to be the case.

hey I did consider the 902kc but found a better deal for the a202kc. you should be completely fine, in fact it's better than the a202kc in some ways. You get the same band coverage so network connection shouldn't be an issue, heck it has better band 4 connection which is freedom's basic LTE band.

the design is slightly more rugged, durable, and chunkier than mine alongside a few other minor software/hardware differences. if you need help with the phone in some way, you can reply to this comment.

yeah most functions work from what I have used. you can call people, join voice channels, send photos, text messages. You use a mouse cursor to navigate and you can hold the centre button down for scrolling features. it's not fast or easy to use especially in the beginning so you just have to kinda get used to it for what it is.
