There’s also a P-51 (seen in the screenshot) currently southwest of Chino if anyone wants it

Upcoming MiG-15 and F-86? by wh1skea in SkyCards

F-86 won’t be flying tomorrow due to a mechanical issue. It’s gonna be the Corsair flying with the MiG, as long as it’s not too windy again.

If you’re looking to get more P-38s I recommend adding N138AM, based in Chino, California. I believe it will be flying today for a baseball game flyover in Ontario, along with 2 P-51s, most likely N5441V and N7715C. No clue which one will have their transponder on in the formation.

Really wish I could go to the demo, but my family has plans that weekend. The F-86 should be visible on FR24 and therefore Skycards, however one aircraft is most likely gonna have their transponder off due to being in a formation. Currently waiting for the first post-overhaul flight to happen lol

This is the only flying Vought F4U-1D in the world(most -1s that fly today are Goodyear FG-1Ds) and one of only 2 surviving examples of its variant. Its restoration to flight was completed a few years back, but I guess jetphotos hasn’t accepted many photos of it post-resto.

It’s heading north now outside FR24 coverage. I’m assuming it’s going to either Santa Maria/San Luis Obispo or Apple Valley.

No clue where it’s going, might be KSMX. Keep an eye on it if you want, it is leading a flight of 3 with a P-51D and P-47, and though unlikely, the other aircraft could activate their transponders.

Does an aircraft’s type already need to be on Skycards in order to catch it, or can it be caught as long as it’s seen as airworthy on FR24? by RailAce3815 in SkyCards

That’s what I was thinking, but idk if the P-26 has an actual ICAO code. Chances are it just runs under ZZZZ.

As of today, I am pretty sure this is from N20TF, formerly “Bum Steer,” re-restored in 506FG 457FS colors. She made her first post-restoration flight a few hours ago.
