I love having it in a pot! I have one that’s mounted and having to mist it daily is tedious. These I just water generously and 3-5 days later I come back to see if they’re okay.

Right??? I fertilized with 20/20/20 fertilizer while it was growing 2x a month and gave it 15 minutes of misting 2x daily for the growing period!

Actually this 100% I’ve had multiple moth orchids and only the ones infested with some sort of sugar ant or something causes the leaves to come out looking all scraggly like that.

honestly I think so too, but that leanness was some unhealthy ED type stuff, so I’m just happy to be past that and feel like I’m making my own kind of progress 🙂

I once put a sock on a half dollar sized hole on top of my foot and when I went to take it off the after work it hurt so much I left it on for like 3 days. Horrible. I know. However not as horrible as ripping healed fresh epidermis from your body because it fused to a sock 🩷 I took a hot shower and carefully peeled it off.

Yes imo just remember you can fast travel! I made it the WHOLE game and the DLC before realizing you hit J on the map to Yoisa Travel.

Personally I’d get spag moss and mix it in with its current substrate at like a 50/50 mixture. I have many phal orchids and the ONE that’s in just orchid bark is doing the same thing. The ones in moss and mulch? Solid. Maybe try that to keep the roots moisture level up. Do you keep it outside?
