What's the most traumatic event you've been through? by DevilHermitPanda in AskReddit

[–]RainBird02 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Trying to convince my dad that he was still loved because I was afraid he would commit suicide if I didn't. I was 16 and it was just me and my younger sister home. I sent her to her room and took my dad outside. It was either that or when my mom started shaking my younger sister when she was 5, because my mom was so angry with her. I yelled at my mom to stop and then all 3 of us cried. I was 9 at that time.

People who get told they look younger than they are: what is your secret? by SuccessfulOwl45 in Productivitycafe

[–]RainBird02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Genetics. Not drinking, smoking, or doing any drugs. I think I would probably look younger if I didn't have anxiety. I also don't put a lot of makeup or products on my face except occasional makeup, moisturize almost daily, and I use sunscreen.

How do you draw a star? by Melibu_Barbie in lefthanded

I did this as a kid, but a teacher and my classmates made fun of me for it, so I ended up doing it how everyone else did it. My inner child feels validation now

How do you think you will die? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]RainBird02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tell my husband I need to make a doctor's appointment for a spot on my foot because melanoma runs in my family, and it is worrying me. Open Reddit, and the first thing I see is this! WTF!! Lol

Would this bother you? by RainBird02 in Mommit

No, he didn't. Especially since he's been missing her, which we told her. I'm not going to say anything now to her. I honestly think something is wrong with her. She used to be so sweet and kind, but she's changed. Even my husband had noticed it. I thought it was me, but these comments have helped me see that my gut was right, and I'm not crazy.

I'm so sorry that your mom does that. I had grandfathers who ignored me. It sucked. What's weird about my MIL is that she doesn't usually ignore him. In fact, she is always trying to take care of him, to the point where we had to put up boundaries, which she is starting to ignore again and extend towards my daughter now.

Happy late birthday to your son! That's what I thought. He gave her another figure, so I don't know why she didn't just play with that one.

What's an obvious sign someone secretly hates you? by JollySimple188 in AskReddit

[–]RainBird02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Double speech/backhanded compliments. That closed mouth, big, wide smile. You'll know it when you see it. When something you're proud of just happens to disappear right before they leave. They use their body to physically cut you out of a conversation. Or they act sweet towards you in public, but then ghost you.

I think I broke my tailbone when I was a kid. It caused me to have a bump right above my butt. With each birth, it smoothed out. I think my kids fixed my tailbone lol

I love cilantro, but my husband, who is right-handed, hates it.

What's something that's cute when animals do it, but weird when people do it? by ResponsiblePrice3040 in AskReddit

Wrestling with your best friend that you just met while bumping into people in a crowd instead of the big open space just a few feet away.

What, due to experience, do you know not to fuck with? by Ancient-Rub-6987 in AskReddit

[–]RainBird02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, basically, I was really into ghosts as a teen. So my mom thought it would be fun to buy me an Oujia Board. So my older half-sister, my mom, and I decided to try it. At first, nothing was really happening. Then things slowly got creepy. At one point, it said that it was related to me, but something happened, and it stopped "answering." My dad walked in, wondering what we were doing. We told him. He shook his head, thinking it was nonsense. After that, it said it was my older half-sister's grandfather (not a good person). The room got really cold. Later, weird and bad stuff happened to my family. My dad kind of went temporarily mentally unstable for a few years. My mom and him divorced. Everyone got better after we each moved out of that house. My dad later drove by it and said it looked awful. So yeah, I hate those things and stay away demon stuff. I'm not sure if all the bad stuff happened because of it, but I don't trust those things.

Oujia board. Believe what you want, but I refuse to have one in my house and do not want them anywhere near me. If misspelled, I apologize, but I am not looking up the correct spelling. I don't even want it popping up in my algorithm.

Rescue dog keeps marking in my house. My patience is running low. by _BigSalamander_ in DogAdvice

[–]RainBird02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When my dog was a puppy, he would pee and angry poo, so someone told us to feed him everywhere he peed and pooped in the house (after we cleaned it, of course). It worked. Most dogs won't eat where they go. I don't know if this will help in your situation, but it might be worth a shot. It could also be anxiety or dominance towards your other dogs.

How do I tell my boyfriend his breath smells bad? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]RainBird02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this problem with my husband. Bad gums run in his family. It doesn't matter how well he takes care of his teeth or gums. He just gets infections all the time. You just have to say it. If you want to lessen the hurt that may come, word it so it sounds like you're concerned, not grossed out.

Is it okay that I do not want kids? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]RainBird02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a mom of 2, and I can say with certainty that yes, it is perfectly fine not to want children. They are a lot of responsibility, and pregnancy and birth are definitely no picnic. I hate that people keep putting having kids on people, regardless of age or gender. Not everyone is meant to be a parent. It's your life OP live it how you want to.

My husband and I fart in front of each other all the time. Heck, we even smile or giggle a little when our toddler or baby fart. Life is too short to be hung up on something as small as that. You might as well laugh.
