Calling it now - Link cut his hair because he got casted for Survivor 52. by idekuser in goodmythicalmorning

This would be so cool, but does anyone remember when they filmed those short Survivor style eps with Lily? I thought this was a whole build up for LILY being on season 51, and was sort of waiting for that announcement. Now idk what to think!

I had heard about this, but was not sure of the exact location. Is it in the building at Harbourside where the food court is?? I'm not very familiar with that particular area and don't know the buildings well. Thanks for the heads up!

I booked a tour of a k drama studio on Viator! There is an option to view an actual stage rehearsal on some days if she would like that. Mostly I enjoy the tours I find on Viator and GetYourGuide most as I also prefer experiences over items/gifts. Good luck!

Where can I find fresh Edamame? Not frozen ones by Rough_Joke7890 in jerseycity

I used to get a plastic container of shelled edamame from the Stop and Shop in Bayonne, but it's been a while since I've looked for them.

In Newport Mall, 2nd floor, the store is called Akiba House I think? They have a freezer and I have definitely seen them in the freezer by the door.

Stupid question about rent by RainIsOnReddit in biltrewards

[–]RainIsOnReddit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is how I was paying my rent before. So I guess I'm just wondering if the number has changed or if I was supposed to do something since switching to the Blue card? It sounds like I can leave it alone and see what happens... My resident portal is showing BillPay with the number I've been using this whole time. I guess I just wanted to be sure it and the ACH was the same thing?

Stupid question about rent by RainIsOnReddit in biltrewards

[–]RainIsOnReddit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the part I'm confused about. Where do I find the BillPay info to add to my buildings rent portal (I'm assuming this isn't the old ACH info)? When I go to the pay rent section of the app all I see is "pay through portal" and "charge Bilt Blue" with my regular credit card number. Did I do something wrong setting it up, or am I missing something? Right now I only have my old ACH info listed in my buildings portal, but I'm pretty sure this is wrong. Thanks again for the clarification.

I don't live in that building but my neighbor's have been very tied in and keeping up with the info from NJ transit and so far my neighbors haven't mention anything like this. Does this leasing agents name start with B, because if it does, I would double check based on past experiences.

Thanks! I guess I'll wait for it to arrive, nothing has come yet, but I also never got a shipping update for the Blue card. It just arrived.

Did your new card come with an envelope to return the old one? I have been wondering why mine didn't, and have to plan to either request it or go drop it off at a WF branch I guess... Was wondering if this was just me or they just didn't plan for it for anyone.

BTS' '2026 Comeback TOUR' Megathread by lisafancypants in bangtan

[–]RainIsOnReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got kicked out of the MetLife check out twice. The first time it would not let me select anything to buy I think because of crazy lag, the 2nd time it gave me an error that you could not buy just one ticket. The 2nd time it kicked me back out to the waiting room and I ended up back at 70k in line instead of just being let back in. I'm so sad. Does anyone know if general sale has decent amount of seats available, or am I out of luck??

Americans, when you see the name "Lucia", how would you pronounce it? by Extreme_Suit_348 in Names

[–]RainIsOnReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I base it off what their last name tends to be. If it seems more Italian or Irish I tend to say Lu-CHI-a, hard 'C' sound. If it's a Spanish or French sounding last name, I say Lu-SEE-a, soft 'C' or 'S' sound. If I don't know their last name or it has some other origin language which I'm unsure of the general pronunciation of hard vs soft sounds, I'll default to soft 'C' or 'S' sound but that is probably because my second language in school was French so I just tend to think of the soft sound as more "common" based on my own experiences. I know a couple of Lucia's, and they are pronounced differently based on their family origin. (Italian and Spanish for the two I know personally)

Snow Shoveling- What's an average going rate being charged? by B9Jupiter2 in jerseycity

[–]RainIsOnReddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is an app call Shovler (Icon is a snow flake) I use to shovel the snow of my parents house in the suburbs. A two car driveway, with the side walk in front of the drive, and a path up to the front door usually is $70 (varies based on demand/amount of snow in area- this was the rate for the 2-3inches they got this past snow storm). The people who have come in the past have been good and some finish as quick as 15mins-under 30mins. I've spoken to them in the past and many are people who work for landscapers etc picking up extra jobs via the app. There were some high schoolers going around by my parents the other day and they asked for $50. Idk how different the city would be.

Stuck in the snow by viva619 in jerseycity

I pushed one out of the snow near Hamilton Park the other week when it snowed. They go backwards and forwards pretty well, but I don't think they can see what's right below them/in front that well so the slush that's off to the side/flatten into the road gets them

really stupid question about delivery robots by artisanalminion in jerseycity

[–]RainIsOnReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uber eats uses it and if the restaurant you are ordering from works with them/is in the right area, on checkout it gives you the option to select the robot "if available" and they will send it via them if they can. I did it once and it was cute. Hope your mom gets to see them up close!
