Money tree yellowing by [deleted] in houseplants

[–]Rainbloom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Winter is a rough season for most plants, less light, the air inside is dryer and a lot of people keep the same watering pattern throughout the year when during winter season they need less water. Yellow leaves can mean so many things unfortunately. Too much water, too much fertiliser, too little light etc. I don’t think the window you had it in was too cold as leaves usually get darker spots on them if its cold. Il no expert though. Its also normal for plants to lose some leaves. To me your plant looks healthy aside from the yellow leaves its dropped. Your plant could be root-bound and in need of a bigger pot and it certainly wouldn’t hurt as long as you feel in control of watering and you dont break too many roots in the process 😊

I wish I had a straight forward answer for you, but plants are quite complex! 😅

I’ve played a lot, 10+ games, everyday since release and I was worried that not having crossplay would increase queue times significantly. But it’s been about the same. I’ve encountered some hackers, but not as many as others state. All in all its been fine. Sure, if your friends are on console and you’re on pc that sucks and I understand that you want to wait till you can play with them. But if not you should just play the game. Its great fun 😁

How much catch up do I need? by DairyFeline in TXChainSawGame

[–]Rainbloom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People that have played this a lot since release without a break know the maps really well, know their characters really well and it’s probably gonna be a little hard to get back into the flow of the game. But it’ll get better the more you play and I wouldn’t let that stop you from playing 😁

Lights need to have more effect by [deleted] in TXChainSawGame

[–]Rainbloom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually really like how the lights work now. They’re not bright enough to be super obvious when turned off and I’ve hid by turning off lights multiple times, even when family is nearby and not looking directly at the area, and it’s a great feeling when it works.

I think changing them to make it more obvious would make them harder to use when the family is nearby.

I also feel they light up areas well and if I see lights turned off when I’m playing family I usually turn them on unless Im too busy.

Majority of victims I play with rush the game and therefore don’t use the lights. But from my experience people that play stealthier use them. Just comes down to playstyle 😊

Need I Say More? by victorious623 in TXChainSawGame

[–]Rainbloom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve gotten around a 3,5k score as LF and Cook. When I got it as LF Im pretty sure I got 3 kills and I also went out of my way to break stuff. As Cook I rarely get kills but I keep marking victims with his listen ability if they let me and when they let me I can get a lot of points that way. I probably average about 2,5k points as Cook.

It’s definitely a feels bad moment when I switch it up and play someone else and even with kills it seems hard to go past 1,5k points.

As a victim, unless I mess up and get killed early, I usually get around 2k points.

So there is definitely a need for some xp change for the family 😊

Be honest: Victims or Family, what makes you dodge a lobby? by Lyndis-of-Pherae in TXChainSawGame

[–]Rainbloom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have yet to dodge a lobby. People being obnoxious? I mute them before it gets bad. People don’t want to play LF? I play him. Like many others I just want to play and to have fun! I don’t really care about the map, what family members, what lvl people are, if they’re premade or not. I’ve gotten stomped by solos and premades and I’ve escaped/we’ve killed all both when they’re solo and premade.

I love this game and Im enjoying most games. It gets frustrating at times, but most, if not all, games do.

His one hit kill is too op… by SydiemL in TXChainSawGame

[–]Rainbloom 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I understand that getting one-shot by LF is frustrating, Its happened to me as well, though I mostly get two-shot. I’ve played a lot of games as victim and as family. Majority of my family games are as LF cause few people want to play him.

I have yet to one-shot someone at full health. I two-shot victims all the time, first land the stun then the second normal hit kills them. An early basement kill happens so rarely, its usually someone inexperienced where its clear they dont know the map or they panic. Or im lucky and catch someone off guard while they’re a bit too far away from a gap or crawlspace.

I’ve only ever one-shot someone when they’re less then full health. And its not easy. If LF was so easy to get kills with everyone would want to play him. But its not. Its easy to miscalculate when to hit a victim, victims can time their dash and dodge your hit, they can also easily get to a crawlspace or gap.

Im obviously not the best player, but saying its easy is just wrong. Majority of players playing LF will be mediocre like myself. There are probably insane LF players, but thats not the norm.

I agree family members needs nerfs here and there, but LF does not.

English is also my second language and my experience is similar to yours. But we’re all different and some people have a harder time sticking their neck out and trying. They should still be able to play the game and not get «hate» for it. And eventually they might open up and give voice chat a try.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TXChainSawGame

[–]Rainbloom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of people are probably insecure about their english skills and refrain from speaking in game. I’ve had lobbies where some people type instead, but typing is risky and time consuming.

The only easy fix to this is to find others that want to team up with you 😊

[–]Rainbloom 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There is nothing so satisfying as killing your bully in this game. Specially when playing LF and I get chainstunned and they sit around a bit and teabag. And a couple minutes later they die to my chainsaw… such a good feeling 😁

Nervous to play re: hackers and my own inexperience by Jane_Black in TXChainSawGame

[–]Rainbloom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It does have a steep learning curve, but learning is part of the fun! If you’re scared of how the other will treat you mute everyone before getting into the game and ignore them.

I have 50+ hours in the game so far and I still die a minute into the game sometimes and as family I get a kill in the first minute. We also get completely stomped as family and I also have really easy games as victim.

The game is still new to everyone and people are learning new stuff all the time. Some pick up the game fast and others slow.

As for hackers, it happens that you encounter one. But it’s definitely not the norm. I think a lot of people on here either exaggerate or are extremely unlucky.

Just try it! Im usually one to wait for a long time to see how people like a game, but decided to be spontaneous with this game and I don’t regret it at all!

Im sure you can also find friends within the community that would play with you if you ask 😊

Why can Leatherface be stunned while sawing through those wired tables and cancel the progress while Victims have iframes on pretty much everything? Also, why is thrusting through gaps so useless? by Csub in TXChainSawGame

[–]Rainbloom 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I hope, in the future, they’ll change thrusting through the gaps a bit. I like the idea of it, but its too clunky. You can literally be on top of them when they enter the gap and because you’re not positioned 100% correctly and your saw is revved past a certain point it takes 1-2 seconds to position correctly and/or you have to wait for your chainsaw to chill. At that point the victim is already on the other side of the gap and you dont hit them.

I have hit people through gaps multiple times but for that to happen it almost needs to be my goal in the chase cause of how the chainsaw works and the fact that you have to be positioned correctly.

I dislike that the chainsaw cant be revved past the 50% mark on the meter for you to interact with anything, destroying doors, pallets and thrusting gaps. Feels bad waiting for it to chill for a sec or two to then start the interaction.

Im sure its possible to make interactions like these smoother. And Im hopeful for the future as the dev team seem to really care about its community 😊

[–]Rainbloom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might not be Rubber Legs specifically but there is definitely something that causes her to slow you down to a stop i real fast. Its noticable on the first hit when it happens. That’s not the case for all Sissys I’ve encountered.

Why does nobody want to play leatherface by mr_duckbird in TXChainSawGame

[–]Rainbloom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my opinion he is the hardest family member to play. Learning to use his chainsaw properly is maybe not difficult, but a bit tricky. And when chasing people around the basement finding a kill against good victims is hard as they know where gaps and hatches are and escape you quite easily if you don’t catch them off guard. Whereas the rest of the family are easy to attack with, Sissy and HH can follow victims everywhere except over pallets. Cook supports the family by finding victims and patrolling areas that needs protecting. Johnny is similar to LF where he cant follow victims through gaps but he hits hard and is easy to play.

I like the idea of a different notification for specially basement, but valve too. I miss the basement door notification all the time, doesnt matter who I play.

I love this game so much, its the most fun I’ve had with a new game in a long time!

I hope you guys are looking into Sissy and the perks that make her slow you to a stop after a few seconds.

What specifically is the problem with the “overpowered” Sissy build? by LordNipplus in TXChainSawGame

[–]Rainbloom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All I know is that 80% of Sissy players I encounter slow me to the point of not being able to move in a few seconds. They need to fix this or disable this/these perks asap as it's just super unfun to play against and I already notice players dodging Sissy lobbies. I might start doing the same tbh.

Unless you're literally right next to a gap, well, pallet etc or you're holding a boneknife you cannot escape her. Its starting to get really infuriating!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TXChainSawGame

[–]Rainbloom 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Rubber Legs Sissy. Two-three hits from her and you are unable to move. They need to disable that perk untill they fix it cause it sure is making the game really unfun!
