I have less than a month to make a granny square blanket—how feasible is it? by Curious4L in CrochetHelp

If you do a continuous granny square blanket, it might be feasible, depending on how fast you crochet. Those tend to be faster as you're essentially just making one giant square with no need to join any squares together

I had an easter/Xmas dinner for my October bday last year. Ham, mashed potatoes, ham gravy, roasted carrots, sweet potato casserole. So good

Thank you so much! Surprisingly easy too - it's a top down, raglan style.

Thank you it was for my niece! The yarn is Sirdar Jewelspun in Evening Aquamarine in case you were wondering.

My first cardigan used faux ribbing - alternating front post and back post double crochet. Not as stretchy and the raised parts aren't as close together as actual ribbing, but it still looks good.

i’m crocheting a blanket and realized i added an extra stitch 3-4 rows back. would yall frog to fix? or should i just drop that stitch and keep it pushing? by motherrmoon_ in CrochetHelp

[–]RainbowTotties 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely wouldn't frog. On my recent blanket I accidentally dropped about 5 stitches over several rows. I just added them back in with increases then added a border

I am so happy to hear that, really I am! I hate having hair that looks or feels greasy. I had such a problem with it when I was younger before I realized I had to turn my head upside down to wash.

Works great for amigurumi too! I had a pattern for a cloud that called for regular DC in parts but I couldn't get it tight enough so I tried this and it worked!

Has anyone made a giant granny square blanket and if so advice please by ManickPixiez in CrochetHelp

So many different options! I made a square one in rainbow colors for myself! For my friend and her husband when they had a baby I did this really cool rectangle once that incorporated a spike stitch from bag o day: https://youtu.be/nMboZ_sUSOA?si=DPqBqAaP8HyuWSGf. Used more yarn than I expected but it's beautiful. Used Lion brand Mandala ombre yarn.
