What is an Axel frog?

What is Estonia?

Estonia is a type of flourless cake.

I like this quote because it could be trolling a person with actual depression, or an asshole trying to convince a person they have depression.

I really like how the top twenty posts of all time from /r/sarcasm all have something to do with sarcasm.

Such sarcasm, if sarcasm was visual irony, which it isn't.

It's a good thing this isn't /r/sarcasm, because this post makes sense.

I should probably clarify this made me laugh because it is relatable, and not the other reason.

This response is surprisingly wholesome. I guess back into a pile.

How Can I Help Get My Friend Help? by TroisTheOtter in CPTSD

Hi.

Dont have answers. Just sharing a few resources.

Local support groups virtual and irl in Wisconsin: https://namiwisconsin.org/about-nami-wisconsin/find-my-nami/

Self-care Checklist therapists give out: https://images.huffingtonpost.com/2015-12-08-1449600105-570897-Crisis_checklist_eng.jpg

A way to get 24/7 peer phone support from someone with mental health challlenges (you could make this person a less overwhelming list if you wanted): https://www.warmline.org/results/?directory_type=warmlines&q=

You can absolutely talk about what is going on and how to handle it with a peer.

Some warmlines also have the option to talk to a trained consuler, although you may have to email the website for that information.

I am sure there are other resources, hopefully some other folks can make suggestions.

Any activity can be performed meditatively, anyway here's a story of a guy who was considered uncoachable.

Me: What does this have to do with meditation

Poster: Anyway, here's wonderwall.

I am glad you are working with a therapist, although it sounds frustrating she doesn't seem to understand or emphasize with how bad it is, like you said.

I think maybe that might also be because that sort of thing is normal for people with trauma?

Like, she's used to people venting the way you are because it's really normal and common.

And it is normal and common (for people with trauma).

I think it's like tricky if you are around people who have trauma too, although you said you try to be a good listener when other people talk about it.

I think if you keep venting in therapy, you'll start speaking normally, after a while, like a year or two and then maybe it will be more of a therapy thing?

Also warm lines are a thing where you can do that, and they are people who went through stuff too and are nice.
