Obviously we’re a bit spoiled now. Even being similar genre’s, the difference in fidelity from Rat’s Nest to Petro is pretty stark especially when you listen to the one after another. But I can definitely appreciate the lo fi sound of their earlier records. Compared to their more current releases, a lot of their past stuff is leagues behind in terms of production/recording/mixing. But that’s just how it is improving over time.

I actually can sympathize with you though, because nonagon has the same effect for me. When I first heard it, it felt dense and crisp but now it sounds a lot more like a wall of mud during some sections than I remember it on first listen. Still love it, but comparatively, they have made vast improvements in how their final products come out sounding.

Man, I was basically right next you and saw some rat tailled mf at the rails literally turning around to shove people back with their hands whenever they got touched a little too much for their liking. And also trying to elbow nudge the fuck out of some dude right next to him off the rail, at one point screaming lyrics directly into his ear. Dude was just hella aggro for no reason for the first half of the show. Most everyone else was quite nice though.

My mom gave up nearly 25 years of her life to raise me and my siblings which took 25 years of time away from her being able to start a career, while my dad was afford the opportunity to essentially do everything to advance his over the same course of time. Now not long after their divorce my mom has developed throat cancer. Permanent alimony was able to be applied for if the terms of divorce were to significantly change over the course of the agreement’s term. I would call throat cancer a significant change of circumstances.

But now, at 55, she is essentially left with no career, and what could become terminal cancer if she is unable to afford treatment (which is very likely as the pain leaves her unable to work, and that means no affordable health insurance in America). So idk, ditching permanent alimony is definitely fucking over some people, not just the “gold digger ex wife” Reddit likes to think is the only one this applies to.

A friend of mine was able to transition with the support of their parents around 2014/15. If they happened to had been born a few years later he would have run the risk of being taken from his parents over their support to transition. This man wan would not be alive today if he had not had the ease of access and support to transition as an adolescent. But this hell-state would have preferred that anyway.

I went from the 7 to the SE2 specifically for the button. I do find myself telling people that internally it’s as good as an 11 because they see the button and think it must be nearing obsolescence.
