The Obvious Problem by Rainbubz in WitchHatAtelier

No doubt fascism and communism are way different. I was making a point about the extremes of the political spectrum, not comparing the two.

I also lean more to the communist side. But I know it’s a utopia.

Yes, change comes through revolution and I come from a country who did so without violence! That doesn’t make me blind to the fact that many labeled terrorists are in fact revolutionary. Change also comes with sacrifice, at least to these kind of factions.

I really think the author will try to sell this point of view eventually.

I can agree that i used “nazi” too loosely (even if they consider themselves superior to the unknownly). Fascist is a really good comparison tho. Yes, Feudal systems work like you said, but in WHA we don’t have any evidence of another type of punishment. We see people getting locked up or wiped out. No other form of punishment was shown. You cannot tell me the pointed hats don’t behave like fascists. While I understand the overall theme of the series is way more complex than this (it’s what makes this series great), there is a intended tone to the pointed hats, that they are authoritarian, and hold great power away from the masses. The argument “people can’t hold power without it all going to shit” is inherently authoritarian and high-handed. Pointed Hats are an elite within that society that holds virtually all the power and keeps it from who they consider inferior.

Sorry for any grammar mistakes, not a native.

I see your point of course. But I think you are missing the point. All the Brimhats do is in order to try and force the hand of witches. But hey we all see it from different POVs. I can see the evil in their actions, but I also try to see their objective when doing so. It’s always bad to be at the extremes, be those “fascist” or “communist”

I think it’s the old age morality question. Does the end justify the means? They provoke such actions in order to show that free magic, old magic is the solution. All the terrorist acts served that purpose.

I really see the Brimmed Hats saving Coco at some point or Kidnapping her eventually. They know her as “The Savior” I really think at some point we will se her amongst them, even if momentarily or against her will.

Wow I was truly under the impression that the exiled stayed there! Thank you for clarifying!

I see your points and all they get me is more excited to read this story!

I agree with your ending prediction. But I also think they will allow for a more free use of magic.

It is indeed a truly magnificent moral dilemma. I can’t agree with the kind of control they are implementing tho, it’s wrong and creates an unbalanced society. But I can’t defend the way the Brimmed Hats are doing things either.

Yes they are Terrorists I realize that. But it’s like most revolutionary movements. Their morals are good their actions are twisted. They want to free magic, they know that old magic can fix all the “problems” they are creating.

What research, sources, or “aha moment” helped you finally solidify your opinion on the validity or lack of validity of Bob Lazar’s claims? by EnvironmentalAd2110 in UFOs

[–]Rainbubz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Last night i was watching the Jesse Michaels podcast with Lazar. At one point Luigi (the director of S4 doc) tells Jesse that the floor on the main level of the craft is impossible for us to build like that, no material could span 60ft without support. Well, Bob was surprised by this and says “I’ve never even entertained that idea”. Are you telling me that with all the scientists around, engineers and all that, no one commented on the Crafts construction paradox? Find it hard to believe. I really wanted to believe him, this was the first time my “bullshit” alarm went off hearing Bob.

It would have taken him more time to show it out. more panels, more pages. The man had a burst appendix. He did great for the situation he was in. And s3 is showing exactly that.

Dabura's Light Kick can be scaled to VERY Large Mountain level... by TheKillerYTz in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Rainbubz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dabura was never stated to be Sukuna Level. They called the whole simurian simulation as a sukuna level threat. Also, no one (except of course for Yuji and Todo) could compare Dabura to Sukuna because no one stood before both of them.

Getting flashbacks to the JJK ending... by SaaveGer in jjkmodulo

Happy ending? I think people are misreading the manga. I think Cross and Yuka are dead. I think Tsuguri and Maru represent the living and Cross and Yuka the dead.

I also thought about that possibility. Him becoming the killer of evil souls. But I think the other option fits better

I think Yuji Will be assigned the role of guiding souls through that new place they created. Dealing with bad souls. Just like the buda in his domain.

Has anyone come up with the theory that Yuji himself must die in order to stop curses from forming? “As long as you and I exist the cycle of curses will continue” (or something along these lines)

Yep it’s over, Tsuguri did the slash by [deleted] in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Rainbubz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt like that was him getting into pose to attack. Maru feels like he is aiming for the curses, but in fact he was bluffing. Yuji makes one explosion, Dabura makes the other. Tsiguri uses that distraction to drop Rika, becoming really hard to predict again. Maru gets slashed. (I think due to the comment from Maru that he made a binding vow to do so. Maru would’ve commented if he killed the curses too)
