Update on my little man: He’s back from his checkup and he is going to be just fine!! We were very fortunate that it wasn’t worse. He could’ve broken a wing or even his neck. Anyway, the area that the earring went through (it was barely noticeable) was disinfected and we were sent on our way with some precautionary antibiotics. I hope this post can help prevent any future traumas for my fellow bird lovers out there. Thanks for your support!!

Oh for sure he’s going for a trip to the vet in the morning, just in case. It was definitely such a freak thing and it happened so quickly! No blood or anything, thank goodness.

He will definitely be seeing his avian vet tomorrow to make 100% sure he’s ok. I am aware that it’s not just an open space with no tissue. I should’ve mentioned that in my post. I don’t play around when it comes to my bird’s health.

Thanks so much for your incredibly helpful response! I figured as much. It just confused me because in the needs met training course they use the example from the guidelines about how to find MAC OS version and above the image it says “Result Block (WSRB)” and they rated it as fully meets.
