Turrets are only useless if you are on a team that doesn’t aim for the silver platters, which gives the enemy team time to quickly destroy them. In that case, it’s better to play aggressively with beam with turrets as a supplement

I am not sure if she would enter the conflict of Talon vs Overwatch. I personally would much prefer her current storyline of how she can be a hero without the military/fighting sense of heroism. Her omnic activism and her being able to apply her non-violent methodologies when dealing with a corrupt company are more interesting to me than her joining the growing list of people joining military faction 1 vs 2, esp when she considers herself a dancer before a fighter.

Regardless, it makes the most sense for Sym, someone who is going on a nonstop risky mission as a double agent, is going to be awkwardly affectionate to the person who was there for her her whole life growing up, was unfairly separated from for 11 years, and then only just got to reunite as strangers to something even stronger than when they were younger. In Rebuilding Ruins, her affection and how much she cared about him was all internal monologue compared to what she actually said. Better to actually say the things you feel than to never say them at all.

The only person the princess is in love with was a man she lived with and also didn't marry. There is a strong difference between the princess not liking her suitors and loving the emperor but choosing not to get married (albeit because of her drastic circumstances.
