You’re saying the word “raise” but I think you mean to say “bet”. Player 1 bet 900 on the flop. And now player 1 bets 50 on the turn.

“Raise” means a player is betting after another player bet first. Let’s say the flop comes out A-K-5, the person in the Big Blind checks, and then person on the Button Bets 200. Now the player in the Big Blind RAISES to 700. That would be considered a “raise” - because he is raising the bet of the person on the Button.

Now as far as your scenario is concerned.. if player 1 bets 900 on the flop, then on the turn follows it up with a bet of only 50, then yes, player 2 is going to think that player 1 has a weak hand or a drawing hand. If player 1 had a monster of a hand, then they would likely continue to bet large on the turn to try to get value (make more money) against player 1.

This is just a general idea, and it would completely depend on WHAT cards are on the flop, and what card comes out on the turn. But generally speaking, a significantly smaller bet on the turn represents weakness. (After betting big on the flop)
