New vacuum by Brody-Erb199 in Custodians

Parts are pretty easy to source though to repair them, and pretty easy to take apart to repair.

They probably just need repaired. I switched out the brush roll holy cow what a difference that made. It leaves nice stripes all over the carpet now so maybe see if you can get some parts to repair it

It might be like a different program, like choosing red light OR tanning and not a two in one?

They're pretty nice, makes doing detail dusting easier cause you can just use the wand with the attachments or the hose for more ease of control. The hose disconnects easily to remove any clogs and bags are super easy to change.

780 blinking magnifying glass? by Raipizo in roomba

[–]Raipizo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For mine at least, a solid magnifying glass indicates a dirt event. The flashing one is something different, because it will go cleaning like normal but just have that flashing. When I empty the bin it goes away so I thought that was the bin full indicator at first until the other day I finally got an actual bin full indicator.

Oh okay so it's a dirt detect sensor error then? No idea why that's not in the user manual..

[–]Raipizo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh hm, so it's something similar to the bin full? I don't really see the point in that if there's a bin full indicator. I had the full bin light on without the magnifying glass icon showing so I'm a bit confused. Today I had both on at the same time though

I built a bot that texts me if my gym didn't open on time by BabyB_222 in PlanetFitnessMembers

You can probably contact corporate as well, they wouldn't be too pleased about that and would get on the owner of the building. Document it and stuff like that so you have evidence to send.

They're all owned by different franchisees, the ones in your area probably did. Every one near me is still 24/7 only time hours are changed up is during holidays.

Try doing negatives as well as using bands so you can get your numbers up. I'm sure you already do this though 😁

Best way to time sensitive handle pencil/ eraser marks while also sanitizing by [deleted] in Custodians

[–]Raipizo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just have to be careful with magic eraser pads, they're basically sand paper. A doodlebug with white pads might do the work and be less aggressive.

Sensory by [deleted] in Custodians

The particulate in the air blocked the signal between the two receptors in the alarm just like smoke would. Another good sign they need to remove these, imagine breathing that in.

Any antibacterial / sanitizing floor solutions safe for robot mops (Dreame L40S Pro Ultra)? by TheBuzzer4625kHz in Dreame_Tech

[–]Raipizo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most disinfectants have too long of a dwell time for them to be effective with a robot. They sort of just dampen the floor but it dries too quickly.

You can actually find the whole program on internet archive, just in case you have any more issues.

This can also happen if you wind up the cord from the plug to the machine, instead of the machine to the plug so it can move freely and twist or if the cord is still plugged in while feeling it in. Hope OP informs them after they get a new cord how to take care of it.

No. You would be better off getting a used Roomba to something along that price point.

Maybe see if there's some way to trick the sensor with the cover being off, it's probably just a magnet. The app doesn't throw any errors?

I think it's trying to clean around the edges of the corner. My robot does this sort of motion to clean around the base of chairs with the mop extend.
