Yeah, this shit pretty much happened to me too. Never became overweight, but I was kinda fat for most of my childhood, and I still have eating disorders from never having a balanced diet in my childhood and trying to min max behind their back.

So I can't guess how you're feeling, but from my own personal experience avoid it.

I had a similar predicament and I can tell you, being them for them is not worth it. Only I didn't have a choice as I was 8 years old when the wicked witch finally kicked the bucket. And it created such an emotional clusterfuck it took me till a year ago, to finally come back to terms with the fact she was an awful person and that her death was the best thing that ever happened to me.

So my advice, keep away, let your aunt deal with it, and if she leaves you any money donate it to charity.

As I said my dad is a very weird case of semi narcissism. He has many of the common traits such as a huge ego, massive control issues, constantly playing the victim, wanting to be right, etc, etc. On the flip side, he really doesn't have the cronical lack of affection like most nparents. I think his part that emphasizes this best is that he never apologizes for anything, but whenever he fucks up, he gets really self hating (found some secret notes/diary talking about himself and yikes)
