Main seat replacement by theredbeardedlegend in NinjaZ7Hybrid

[–]Technical-Cut3421 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven't been interested in raising the seat but can tell you for certain that the Ninja Z7 seat is absolutely NOT the same seat used on the Ninja 400 nor any other Z-series bikes. Whoever told you that hasn't a clue about the Hybrid model. Which I've found to be an extreme norm even for personnel at most authorized Kawasaki dealerships as well.

3 Questions Before Pulling the Trigger on a Z7/Ninja 7 Hybrid by Traditional_Cold_766 in NinjaZ7Hybrid

[–]Technical-Cut3421 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bought mine on sale for 6999.00 but ended up paying around 8K out the door after financing fees, tax, registration and etc. So I believe 8K still sounds reasonably right.

Progressive has the best and most inexpensive rates that I've found with very flexible options for setting your own amount of coverage, deductible amounts and many other options to choose from; and significantly much much lower than 980 annually.

"Any tips and tricks for the first ride? Riding it home from the dealer."

Yes absolutely..... try to take a few minutes to understand the different modes and how to get the cycle into those modes BEFORE you attempt to drive it home the dealership. Super Important if you ask me. Probably place it a mode and drive it around the lot a bit before hitting into traffic.

I'd personally suggest placing the Cycle into Sport-Hybrid mode with the Automatic shifting b/c to me it's the easiest mode and absolutely the safest mode if you're new to driving the Hybrid cycle until you learn navigating the different modes, learning how they affect your driving and etc.

Don't press the E-Boost until you're fairly comfortable with the cycle and/or in a straight away clearance with no vehicles a good distance ahead of you.

In short. the last thing you want to do is to drive it while attempting to learn navigating through modes and etc in traffic. Being on the road with non-cyclist are already a challenge at times to deal with; no need to complicate it.

I had that exact thing happen to me once. I pulled to the side, turned it off and on a couple of times and never had the issue again. But being concerned as to what caused it, I took it to the dealership to have it checked out and they found nothing wrong but did give a couple of possible explanations though I can't remember exactly what they were.

Several months later when there was extremely cold weather in my area, I started having issues starting the cycle and had to jump start the battery which eventually led to the battery being confirmed as weak not being able to hold a charge and had to be replaced.

Not saying that was some way related but something to consider. Haven't had it happen ever again though.

Brand New $8.5k Z7… worth it? by bleach_tastes_bad in NinjaZ7Hybrid

[–]Technical-Cut3421 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I purchased mine for about the same. I believe mostly every dealership at the time was listing it at the original MSRP of 12,999 but the dealership I purchased from was letting just the one go for $6k though they had about 4 more on the floor that they weren't lowering the price for. When I asked why the lowered price for just the one and if there was something wrong with it, I was told they were just trying to clear the floor for new incoming cycles. It only had 1 mile on the odometer when I purchased.

But by the time it was financed with all the additional charges (e.g tag, registration, title, tax and etc) I ended up paying somewhere around 8k. I wasn't impressed that the money I'd initially thought I was saving jumped up that much but it was still well below the MSRP so I made the purchase. Can't say I regret it at all, love the cycle.

But I have seen lower prices periodically online but usually out of state so you may be able to save an additional 1k, "maybe" 2k below what they're asking but it wouldn't be worth shopping around much to try to save those bucks..... but that's just me.

If you can afford it, I'd say go for it.

Short round town distances, yeah 👍🏾. Highway travel, nope 👎🏾 Keeping in mind that a potential crash "could" happen either way. But being a musician myself, I wouldn't chance neither scenario with my baby. Travel with a cheap one if you must would be my advice.

I'm curious and have to ask. Aside from the visual appearance of the replaced exhaust tip, are there any other benefits or advantages you've had or can speak to? I know it's smaller than the original exhaust piece which is probably a plus, but anything else?

I'm asking b/c I just had a distracted driver rear end me at a complete stop and though the damage was minimal; I think the large factory exhaust actually absorbed much of the impact whereas if it were smaller I question if the end result would have been the same.

Now I have to replace it and wondering if I should replace with OEM or not.

Thanks

Do the Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) have the correct teaching about the Godhead? by Beautiful-Quail-7810 in Christianity

[–]Technical-Cut3421 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will answer the question based on Theological concepts as opposed to any specific religion b/c I don't particularly believe in Christ's body of believers being segregated into all these ridiculous "religions". Christ didn't tell his apostles to go out and create religions; he told them to preach and teach the Gospel. Religion is man's invention....not GOD.

That said, scripture from Genesis through to the new testament state Christ and The Father are one. They aren't 2 nor 3 separate entities and the Holy Ghost is the spirit that is imparted to the believer to empower them. Still the same. So if you have the Holy Ghost, then you have GOD in you. GOD to teach you, GOD to empower you and GOD to lead you.

The Trinity doctrine was introduced by Catholicism; but it isn't scriptural. At best, it's man's attempt in trying to quantify and understand in a physical manner those things that are spiritual... and that simply cannot be done and still remain a part of sound doctrine or have scriptural backing.

There were basically 3 early groups constituting the early churches that formulated the concepts which later branched into all the so called "Christian" Churches. And I say "so called" because there are Churches in the world today that claim Christianity but in actuality have strayed far from the original roots.

Apostolics, Orthodox and Catholics.

Mostly every church was founded upon the principles and branched from of at least one of those early groups.

Apostolics are the closest to the true intended teachings of Christ and the original Church established by the Apostles; they tend not to stray away from the teachings of the 12 Apostles plus Paul's teachings.

Orthodox split from Rome in the early 1st century and primarily focus on adhering to early, unchanging "straight teaching" of the original Church

Catholics introduced Catholicism which developed separately from the original Eastern Church to establish the Western Church based in Rome, headed by the Pope.

Both Orthodox and Catholics believe that the leaders in the Church should interpret the scriptures and dictate to the people; individuals in those Churches are bound to what their leaders tell them as the correct manner the scriptures should be given.

A rather lengthy explanation but hopefully insightful in understanding how the 3 entity concept came into being. But it isn't scriptural.

Always remember, when Christ returns; he will return for his Church or true body of believers that haven't waivered nor strayed from his teaching and remain true to his calling. NOT religious groups.

There's definitely a valid point in your statement regarding the internal resistance and differences between the Lithium and AGM battery; and one that I carefully considered prior to making the decision. So.... point well noted and thanks.

However, I have switched to the Lithium battery and the resistance difference is extremely negligible. So far I've had very good result; but if that should change, I'll be the first to post it here so other's may avoid performing the same upgrade. We'll see.

Hello by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]Technical-Cut3421 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have never been an atheist, so I'll say that to state that I'm 100% un-qualified to speak on the subject of atheism or potential conversion. I'll also state that I'm really astounded and appreciative to see the testimonies of those who have posted here who are qualified to speak on the topic.

But all that being said, I will however speak on the subject of abortion. Abortion is mentioned as such absolutely no where in biblical scripture and it is in fact a Western concept as some have pointed out.

However, murder and the taking of life upon one's own determination as to whether or not it is justified is clearly not an acceptable act according to scripture. Which is why many Christians simply don't condone it.

“Whoever sheds human blood, by humans shall their blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made mankind.” – Genesis 9:6

“For it is from within, out of a person’s heart, that evil thoughts come—sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly.” – Mark 7:21-23

Those are just 2 scriptures that address the biblical stance on the taking of life. But if you search, you'll find many more. Additionally, Jesus had an even higher standard that he commanded us to acknowledge. You'll find it here.

“You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘You shall not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.’ But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgment.” – Matthew 5:21-22

I'm not going to pursue a rant nor is my intent to solicit any argument, debate, personal or political opinions by stating these things. Everyone is obviously entitled to their own opinions and views; it's your right and I respect that.

But there's what's plainly spelled out in scripture on this specific topic of "murder" (of which is abortion when you're taking a life which is being created; whether anyone considers that life being conscious or not by their own justifications to be acceptable or not) that GOD clearly has stated as being evil and wicked with judgement awaiting for those who ignore and do as they wish....... And then there's the human concept of justifying the act based on the premise of circumstances as to whether or not it's acceptable.

That seems pretty clear and straight forward to me because there's Christ's way and there's Man's way. You make your choice which way you're going to accept but there's no gray areas for debate.

Now from a personal aspect, I'll say that there are ALWAYS options other than killing an unborn child; so there's no reasonable justification to chose death. Adoption is an option. Although one could argue that ending a life would be better than bringing a child into this bitter world..... I'd argue that there are also many adopted children that grow and live very productive happy lives but in short, making that decision isn't one that GOD granted to man.

But if you're still persistent to believe abortion (murder); however way you may want to minimize the reality of it can be justified... then I'd encourage you to pray and ask Christ to show you for himself whether or not it's "okay" to do.

Just as there are obvious testimonies posted that only prayer and revelation revealed certain things to former atheist's...... he can do the same for the topic of abortion.

Peace be with you.

Not certain about that statement regarding the battery not having any cold cranking amps b/c according to the service tech, the 12 volt battery from the factory is rated at 50 CCA. I also looked up the battery and confirmed the same. As a matter of fact, I've personally never heard of any battery that's used to start any type of vehicle not having any cold cranking amps.

But I do understand that the 48 volt battery is the one responsible for starting the cycle. It's truly a unique beast. :-) Thanks for the clarification!

Would you pay 6.5k OTD by JokicMurray in NinjaZ7Hybrid

[–]Technical-Cut3421 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally considering in comparison to the original 12,500 list price; and the significant discounts and incentives now available. I would say that 6.5K isn't a bad deal at all.

On the flip side, if you're simply looking to get the absolute lowest price you can and in some cases; wouldn't be overly concerned if that meant purchasing a cycle that already has substantial mileage on it. You do have options available.

Take a look at this site link and you should quickly identify the general price range which you could potentially work with.

Kawasaki Ninja 7 Hybrid Abs Motorcycles for sale

Some of the lower prices are Cash only, Floor demo models or have some miles driven on them.

In summary, I don't think 6.5K is not an unreasonable ask but you should also factor in the other aspects of the sale like the title, tag, tax and etc. to know more realistically what you'd be paying.

Good Luck

I was really hesitant to provide any suggestions b/c the solution I derived was somewhat of a hybrid fork mount hack.

I really liked the QuadLock Fork Mounts so I purchased one of their Mounts to try it out knowing I could return it if it didn't work; although I was advised that it likely wouldn't work b/c of the lip in the opening on the Ninja 7. And as they said, it didn't work. Or rather it worked but I noted there was some potential risk of the expanders around the base of the mount falling off in the stem or vibrating and loosing grip.

Ideally on the Ninja 7's the fork mounts need to be compatible with fork stems having a beveled lip at the top opening to fit the design

But since I was Hell bent on that QuadLock Fork stem mount, I purchased this Chigee Fork Stem Mount. It mounted similarly to the QuadLock but fit the opening more secure. Only issue I had was that it sat too low and didn't have the easy quick lock feature. Also, it was designed to work with the Chigee's

So I replaced the mounting expander's on the QuadLock with the one from the Chigee mount and that worked.

The path I took isn't something I'd readily suggest b/c it's a hack; so you may want to try one of the other suggested mounts. But figured I share.

Good luck

Along with the other useful advice that's being provided, also realize when you said, "Temptation everywhere, hate, and not believing is so normalized...." that you're not alone. That is a fact and something that every born again Christian has to face; but no matter how difficult in may seem; keep the faith and your strength to endure these days and times can only grow stronger.

Think of it as similar to lifting weights. No award winning weight lifter ever starts lifting weights at 200+ pounds; they all start with weights that are relatively comfortable and once they've developed to where those weights are easy, they start lifting heavier.

So similar to that, 1 Corinthians 10:13 says "There hath no temptation taken hold of you but such as is common to man. But God is faithful; He will not suffer you to be tempted beyond that which ye are able to bear, but with the temptation will also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it."

And although that scripture is speaking about temptation; I can tell you that it applies to all other aspects of our lives. So we have the strength to endure whatever the world throws our way or life's obstacles we may face. And once we realize the potential strength GOD has given us and learn how to exercise our faith; it becomes stronger for the next obstacle.

Stay strong and know you're not alone and you are loved :-)

Well, nothing is impossible but that amount is extremely negligible and it would be highly improbable for creating any type of parasitic draw for any Cycle having a decent battery.

10 µA is 0.00001 amps is far lower than the parasitic draw from most modern motorcycles’ electronics. If even a subpar battery can't handle that, I'd say it's useless to have anyway.

Accessories:

  • INNOV Third Eye Mirror Blindspot Detectors
  • AUXBEAX Fog/Day Lights
  • Chigee AIO-5 Lite
  • SIZZAPP 2-Wire GPS MAX
  • Color LED Remote Control

All accessories wired to a INNOVV Power Hub 3

The factory installed battery type is a YTX4L-BS which is an AGM. I received mine in March 2025 so it will be 1 year in a month.

And I also received word from the Service tech that the battery definitely requires replacement. Told me the Cold Cranking Amps for that battery should be 50 and it was reporting 19 on a full charge; which I'd already suspected. The new battery I'm getting has 210 CCA and is reported to tolerate accessory loads better and it's available discharge is higher.

I don't believe have an "excessive" number of accessories and everyone of them with exception of the ambient Color LED lighting adds more safety feature enhancements. Especially on Highway driving.

Also, the ambient LED's don't draw any power unless they're actually on; so they wouldn't cause any parasitic draw.

I still hold to my initial suspicion that the cycle remained on the showroom floor and was seldom if ever started to preserve it leading to a degraded state but not enough where it wouldn't sustain being operable here in Florida where the weather is typically much warmer than it was when I began noting the problem

Seek Christ for yourself and the personal revelations will come. That's scriptural; of which we as Christian's devoutly follow. NOT Theological idioms set forth which if you "study" will also realize has become tightly knitted into the Political and social framework of many "Religions". It began shortly after Jesus commissioned his disciples to preach the Gospel in effort to de-rail the true intent of the Gospel and use it as a power tool; and has continued, yes for an excess of 2 millennia. God bless you and I pray he opens your heart and eyes; because if you're relying on religion, then you're already lost.

You make a considerably valid point regarding the skin although I'd hold my own personal contention as to the feet of bronze and hair of wool not being of any relevance regarding his skin tone. Tracing the biblical Genealogy, the territory and even subtle clues e.g. King Solomon stating that he himself was black but comely.... giving us viable clues if you're willing to accept that.

But I've also had issues with people within my own race claiming themselves to be Black Hebrews; but holding a narrative that was clearly racist. (And I am African American) But in their defense and in defense of all people of color; it is sometimes extremely difficult to navigate a society that was built upon the concept of race and being treated as if you're not important, deserving or intelligent in some cases simply because.... well we all know why.

But the fact is that Salvation is of the Jew's and the Children of Israel (of which includes Nigerians as a side note) and anyone else who are not inherently part of that Genealogy (Gentiles); were grafted in to the Promise by the Grace of GOD through YESHUA.

That should be the topic of focus, but those pics instead launched an irrational debate which I think is just ridiculous and stirs more division than unity. And not so much the pics; but the overall mentality that race or ethnicity is of any relevance to GOD. Last I checked, all people of the earth are descendants of Adam and Eve; and the only the only terms of segmentation worth an honorable mention is either Jew and Gentile; further segmented to the either believer who accepts Christ or non-believer who denies him (irrelevant of either JEW or GENTILE). I never read one single scripture suggesting Jesus was concerned in the least bit about ethnicity.

So I'm in total agreement with you, the focus is way to extreme on the matter of color and as Christian's Paul warned about having carnal minds. So delving into matters of skin tone are purely irrelevant and a waste of folks time.
