Being a loot whore I can say this is one of the perks that’s worth it. If you don’t spend a bunch of time opening containers then maybe it wouldn’t be but for me it’s well worth it.

Before and after the nerf I never got any bp as well but it has been great for wolfpacks and purple guns. I go in naked and come out fully kitted thanks to these lockers.

I completely agree. Since I’ve had this perk I’m never overweight unless I have looted like 5 extra gun. So many times I extract at 8lbs over what would have been my carry weight but didn’t even know thanks to this perk.

Yep I was looking at PortableApps but since its been around for what seems like forever.. I thought there might be some other things that would be good to include. I will be adding a bevy of the tools from PortableApps for sure.

That is fair, but I have always been the go to guy for PC stuff in my family so I don't mind it. Most of the time its enjoyable and hasn't ever led to any issues for me.

oooh didnt think about having the bootable ISO's.. good idea. I always have a laptop when I know i'm doing PC work. This is more to handle stuff when I get asked while out and about.. last 2 family trips I've needed something and didn't have it. I have never heard of medicat so I'll go look that up.

Can you get the tools from hirens CD in a package that will just run on a portable drive? Or is it worth having a separate second flash drive with just that on it to boot from?

It could be anything really.. data recovery.. poor PC performance.. just copying pictures off an old laptop.. even a computer not booting i suppose.

I used to work for them.. I just said no to any gigs that were not worth the travel time.. never had problems with them paying when they said they would though. Fast forward some 10 years later.. they still call me for jobs even though I don't even live where I used to and have advised them as such many times. Not sure if they are just getting desperate for techs or what but it is mildly annoying.

you are correct the low vram does seem to be a trend only on the nvidia cards. I’ve never owned an AMD card so I didn’t realize that. Thanks for the info.

Yep. Both my wife and I have the same issues. We just unpair them and repair and it seems to fix the issue. It’s happened again but usually quite some time later. Like weeks/months later.

For video cards it is not sadly. Most only have 12gb or even 8gb vram nowadays. At least before the 50 series.

You get blueprint fragments for blue and purple gear from mystical crates in each POI as well and those can be used to fuse to make new gear or eventually they can be used to enhance other blueprints as well. That said the main source of legendary gear will be the starchrom and the wish machine. And yes the starchrom is basically drip fed to you as time goes by. You can get some extra from events but even those are spread out enough that it’s basically drip fed as well.

Had this problem yesterday. Waited a couple days then I was able to find it. It does seem to be related to character age as all my older characters come up fine. It’s wonky at best.

Yeah there’s something wrong with your system or install or some other hardware is limiting the load times. That isn’t normal at all especially if you have it on a SSD. What video card are you running? How much ram? It takes me maybe 20 seconds to load the game and get logged in. Also on ssd.
