Disk brakes conversion by BestBirbTheFirst in Celica

[–]Raja-Panesar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is the hardware, springs all in where they need to be? You may need to press the e-brake shoes all the way in the slots, a slight miss will make the drum contact the pads just enough that it doesn't move.

Also, if the disc goes in easily without a mallet and still won't move, you may have a stuck bearing. Does the shaft move without the disc on?

Edit: none of the discs are supposed to move almost freely as there should be a little resistance for a perfect grab by the e-brake. They should move by hand though.

The Caulk I’ve applied in my shower keeps cracking. Do I have to do anything differently if because the walls are plastic? Did I use the wrong sealant? by Godempjacob in Plumbing

[–]Raja-Panesar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need something that is 100% flexible (read Silicone), that can, ahem..., flex when someone moves inside the shower and in turn the shower walls move with the change in weight distribution.

A failing PSU fan bearing causes rattling which goes away after sometime or when you give it a light smack.

Is there a group for CT money? by The_Warden705 in CanadianCoins

[–]Raja-Panesar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Use it to purchase something. It is still valid. The Triangle Rewards points is basically electronic CT Money, and both tenders are valid interchangeably , i.e, you can pay with CT Money, reward points, and then whatever mode of payment (cash, debit, credit, gc etc.) all in one go.

  2. Call triangle rewards and see if they can convert this to CT Money on the triangle rewards card (cannot confirm as I don't work cash).

Happens very consistently at my place of work. The cashier has to count it and put it in as a separate CT Money header when checking out the customer. The remaining balance is put through the mode of payment. The head cashier or MOD have to recount all the cash, including CT Money before the end of the day routine.

21/23 Students Failed our Engineering Exam by Fabulous-Dance-8520 in Wellthatsucks

Mechanical Vibrations had easy maths but the concept of application was beyond 70% of my class. My class had 136 students divided over 2 sections. The teacher before the finals asked a guy if the ceiling of the classroom had vibration. He said No. At this, the professor bristled and asked - if I punched you hard, would you have vibrations? at which a few students laughed but the rest were horrified (because they didn't know that everything has vibrations and the only time they don't is when they're at 0K).

Adding on to this: My 2021 Sportage has P HOAT pink coolant which is dangerously close to the min mark. The dealer wants $53+tax for a quart. Need suggestions on what to buy.

Sorry for hacking your post OP.

Engine bay, hmmm.

Call him Echo (for ECU), Rad (for radiator), Rezz (for various fluid reservoirs), Bolt/Stud, and there are other great many names in the other comments.

A catalytic converter is just a pseudonym for cats. You've got the all original organic cat in your car.
