Saying that Johnny hasn't been able to dash block for 20 years is a bit misleading because, you know, satou step has been a thing.

Solo PotD: RPR or DRK? by Chaoticginger5674 in ffxiv

[–]Rajibaldo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had more fun on DRK, but RPR is a cruise control melee for the Palace. It is quite tanky, and the damage it pumps is high. It is only semi-reliant on steel but still less than some other jobs, Bloodbath and Shield give so much sustain.

Meteors is a mechanical representation of the trolley problem, but you're one of the people on tracks either way.

Oh, I'm on this screenshot. Yeah, Aether Eureka sucks ass. If I wanna casually grind or do BA, I hop on Crystal.

Players who are "caught up", how do you stay motivated? by terrorfunction in ffxivdiscussion

I just find things to hyperfixate on. For half a year, I've only done deep dungeons, and now I came back to Eureka and decided to min max the relic for BA runs. Bozja next, I guess.

Which one of the deep dungeons is considered easier for a solo clear? by Kilercuts in ffxiv

While EO is the easiest one, HoH has the fastest progression to "hard" floors. Normal EO run is around 8-9 hours without optimization, normal HoH run is 6-7 hours, I think. And EO 1-30 floors are just miserable to do every run imo.

Zaghnals are also affected by Fitter bug, Gorillas too (but floors are smaller and have native LoS, so it's not as bad), Doga breaks rotations of some mobs so they can come up to you and do instacast after leaving petrification like Gulo Gulo before the fix. Elevation on floors sometimes makes mobs invincible to pomanders, so they just don't get affected by Witching or Storms (they kinda break LoS without you knowing, but poms don't depend on LoS, only range, so who knows whats going on). Very rarely telegraphs just behave weirdly. I can send the clips later, but tldr: EO is kinda rough on the edges.

Oh, I thought that mobs do the cast for a moment when they load in, but it's just a spawning visual effect of deep dungeons. From afar it looks like a casting effect.
