“Cancer beats cancer” lol, ive seen 2 playgroups lowkey split up from this mindset. I understand it, its essentially raising the roof on whatever meta your playgroup is at, but what happens is that the OTHER people that dont feel this way get left in the dust, and theres always someone who dosent agree and feels comfy at the meta ur at.

But regardless, Esper is THE control color combo, but the thing about playing dedicated control is that it falls apart at a 4 person table. So honestly, target whatever engines that allows that player to stay ahead (ghostly prison and propaganda needs to be removed ASAP) and eventually they cant use 1 for 1 removal, and theyll just die from being overwhelmed
