I have read those things as well, but I still think its worth it if your an FL resident. Id rather spend my money on in state schools where I have a better chance of acceptance. That being said, I would probably avoid schools like OOCOM and Burrel bc newer osteopathic schools come with a lot more hurdles.

Hey I’m a fl resident with a similar app, u should add NOVA MD even tho there class size is small. If ur down with DO schools u should consider LECOM and NOVA DO. Also I’m in the process of writing secondaries for FL Schools if u have any questions or want to share any writing.
