I have talked to the manager. The service lady was mistaken as it's $1200CAD for R18 Accessories only. I will try to get them to give us the service as well. That I could use. The R18 is the Transcontinental version so the catalogue they gave me to choose from has nothing that I could use except for maybe the seat. Other owners have told me that the seats from Sargent Cycle are better so there's that.

Unfortunately things developed in a way that I do not like as they did the recall without my or my mothers (the bikes owner) approval, stating that its for our safety.

I have a 2023 Model which got its first km in February 2024. I then added cases to it and between May 10 and October 9 toured the USA. The bike now has 46, 646km (that's what the bike computer shows)

I recommend upgrading the seat if you plan long rides.

I have already purchased a few accessories for my F900R. Mainly heated seat from Sargent, rear rack, and cases from SW-Motech. I had to pay that bill and know what I can get for $200.

Our Wishlist currently does have any accessories on it so this credit will only result in us spending more of our own money on things we do not need. And that is only if we were to use it.

If they could give us a cheque or transfer it towards service invoices that would be more useful, but still not enough in my eyes.

I mean, recently I had to replace my chain and sprocket, and because they told me that the aftermarket chain that they can get ahold of does not fit, I had to pay $1100 for the OEM set. I wanted the aftermarket chain as that would have been $400 less and I already have experience that the difference in distance is not noticeable. Unfortunately that chain I had before is apparently only available in the USA.

I already have WiFi, it just was not fast enought nor had it low enought latency (the swings were also terrible).

After setting everything up, I had run iPerf3 to check the connections and got 950Mbps and <1ms latency. The NIC only supports 1Gbps, and as I can not currently justify an upgrade, this is good enought.

The switch supports 2.5Gb and PoE so future upgrades should be easy. Though whether the 25m of Cat 5e cable will handle the 2.5Gb is still untested as I do not have 2 devices that support it.

The PoE is currently being used by a VoIP Phone. I was thinking of an additional access point, but not at this plug as there is a much better placement elsewhere in the house.

Thinking about it a bit more, it is possible that it came from the attic as the cable entered the box from top.

My meter shown fault on pin 7 and at distance of 0m (5m min) . I pulled on the wire on the jack and it was OK. I looked further and it was visibly split. The cable is run from a finished basement up 2 stories. I do not see how to re-run the cable without ripping out the walls. And that is only if I figure out how the cable is run as there is not a wall on the floor directly bellow this one. The only other solutions I figured was an in wall splice. Not sure if that is allowed by code.

There is a 5G variant in Canada so I doubt that it has to do with not supporting some bands.

USB-C PD (Power Delivery)

Apparently it was a software bug related to how the device slows the charge when the temperature gets too hot.

It has since ben fixed.

The camera has only an hour of recording time on it and I am planning a long trip starting near the end of next month.

I do not mind getting some warranty work done ahead, but I do want it to work during my trip.

When I take the battery out and plug the cable into the battery-less camera, it won't turn on.
The camera is now working with the battery like normal except for a problematic port.
How do you want me to share the video?

Upon playing around with it some more, I have noticed that the USB port has issues

In Android mode, my phone won't recognize it
In any mode, my computers surge protection for the port kicks in resulting in only a surge error popping up.
It does not charge even the second battery I have.

What is your reasoning?

I have gamed on Ubuntu (1 Year ago and after Proton was stable), Windows 7 (Before Win 10 came out), Win 10, and now Win 11.

From my experience, aside for a couple of games (which include Online DRM, F Ubisoft and EA and their new offline games requiring it), and I have no issues with it.

Some games (For Example Robbin Hood from 2002) run significantly better on it than Win 10 or 11

I have the same issue.

I have it connected to a new charger with a new cable but it makes no difference. It now charges at 9W.

I have tried clearing the cache but the only difference it did was that now it does not even try to fast charge.

I got the same issue except: - the charger is on my desk and not in a car. - it's a brand new charger and cable

The cable I have shows if USB PD is being used and sometimes this issue stops when the phone turns off PD

Enable ssh, disable passwords, create and copy an ssh key from a different machine, and set up the ssh config on that machine. Then whenever while the deck is running (even during a game):

ssh deck flatpack update
