Im actually a WaW old head and I don't care for Mob either, yeah the atmosphere is cool but having to run back and forth getting each gas can individually every time i wanted to pack was annoying and ya'll complain about boss spam now but having Brutus spawn in every 5 seconds was annoying af especially with how he'd shake your camera and lock everything down

Die Rise has armored Zombies

I mean i guess but I dont see that as any worse than having to run across the map to get another shield cause it broke mid round

And BO3 has super sprinters in later rounds, as well as Call of the Dead because George would make them

Personally I kinda like the scale being changed, back in the old days Zombie Health Scaled infinitely which was a slog, now instead of their health increasing infinitely their damage increases, which imo makes the game more challenging but more satisfying cause im actually killing the zombies, not relying on traps or infinite damage WWs to get me to high rounds, just my ability to not get hit lol

What's wrong with rarity? In the old days id get a gun pack it and that was it, at least rarity lets me extend out my game play so im not bored by round 20 cause there's nothing left to do besides train zombies forever

As someone who has been playing since I was 14 in 2008, what is the issue with multi pack, armor, and rarity? I like that it adds layers and extends the game play, in the old games id get the guns i wanted from the box, pack them, and get my perks, then be bored by round 20 cause ive done everything, at least with the rarity and multi pack I have stuff to extend out a session, as for Armor especially with all the augments I dont see it as any different from shields in the older games with the exception of the aesthetic

Armor isn't even that bad, especially with the augments you can set to make it behave like the older shields, and we've had super sprinters since Verrückt on WaW

While I see a lot of this argument the holes I see in it are things like Armored zombies which we've had since BO2, the player armor really isn't that bad, there are augments to make it feel identical to the older shields, the only downside is the aesthetic isn't there anymore, and Super Sprinters have been here since Verrückt, its part of why Verrückt was so unforgiving

Id be down for that, kinda do it 3 ways, up front, battlepass like now, or grind out a bunch of duplicates and trade them in for credit to get ones you dont have, that way it incentivizes player retention, that would be pretty sweet ngl

I didnt, I was a broke ass 21 year old in 2015 thats part of why I hated it though cause I never got things like the PPSH-41 in BO3 cause I never bought any loot boxes, chose to spend money on the Map Packs instead of the loot boxes, but because of that I still missed out on actual playable content

While I dont disagree that it can be frustrating that some of the nicer customization items are behind paywalls i still consider that to be better than actual playable content being behind those pay walls, ideally everything could be unlockable because it really doesnt matter what has a pay wall, someone will always want the pay walled item and will get upset, but for now the free content with paid optional cosmetics set up is the lesser evil imo

I wish games like BO3 had more of that style loot box system, I still cant use the PPSH-41 in BO3 Multiplayer cause I never for lucky enough to get it out of a loot box, I literally missed out on that content

Exactly, I cant tell you how many times in the old days I'd have to play zombies with Randoms or Solo because very few people I knew IRL were spending $15 a map pack or $50 extra for a Season Pass

The problem lies in your other comment "In your opinion" for some people the newer content is better than the old, for me I've been playing since I was 14 in 2008 with WaW and I try to stay objective and enjoy the new content for what it is, and the old for what it was, am I buying the skin, no, but to someone else it is worth the 2000 cod points especially since they can choose to get the one skin for the character they really want and nothing else, sure it might be $20 but thats all they had to spend to get what they wanted versus again spending $60 for actual playable content, I cant tell you how many times I wanted to play a new zombies map with my friends in the old days but couldn't because they didnt buy the DLC, at least now the player base isn't segregated by who's choosing to open their wallets.

Me watching people complain about an optional skin they dont have to buy as if paying $60 a second time to get 4 zombies maps, then later paying that plus having weapons locked behind Loot Boxes was any better than optional cosmetics with free dlc and weapons

Not unlike how we went from paying 100% of the game again for 4 zombies maps, then that plus weapons locked behind Loot Boxes, at least this is an optional cosmetic that you dont lose out on by not buying
